Hello… it’s time we re-introduced ourselves, we’re Stem & Green, a three acre flower farm in Winchester, Hampshire. 💐

🌱 We’re purpose driven growers on a mission to spread some joy through flowers. We grow beautifully natural and scented flowers that evoke a memory, and bring a smile. Flowers that are seasonal and grown when they naturally do. Nothing forced or drenched in chemicals. We believe there is alternative to the norm, where flowers are treasured and not just a commodity, where the seasons are celebrated and where the growing is kind to the environment.

We deliver nationwide and locally where freshness is key. So we pick your flowers on the day to order, no storing on cold stores. We sell to florists too, to shops and restaurant, bars and offices. 🌷

We do weddings and events, frothy natural and utterly beautiful ones. We do workshops, flowery ones and arty ones.

In the summer we do Pick Your Own, we have a little cafe too. We look for as many ways for people to interact and enjoy beautiful British blooms.

We also have a shop where we stock the tools and things that we love and use daily, from our favourite flower frog to the aprons we wear daily.

Did you know, most supermarket flowers have little or no scent? Over years of breeding for perfect colour, stem length & ability to travel well, scent has been lost.

We think it’s a huge shame, so we do our best to use as many scented flowers as possible.

This time of year has to be one of my favourite. The field awash with colour, rich in form and texture.

This summer has been hard work to keep plants alive during our record-breaking drought. But the recent rain has been a welcome relief, the field is looking vibrant and alive. The plants relaxed and plump, not straining under the lack of moisture.

We’re open Tuesday to Saturday if you fancy picking a slice of this colourful goodness. Or buckets and bouquets are available online for nationwide delivery 💐 taken in Stem & Green by @stemandgreen

PYO flowers @stemandgreen and everything you need to know ✨🌹🌼💐🌺🌷

🌼 Choose your bucket
Small/Kids £12 | 10–15 stems
Medium £30 | 30–40 stems
Large £55 | 60–70 stems

✂️ A few picking tips
• Bring your bucket to the picking area and add water first
• Pick down to a leaf node
• Aim for stems around 40cm long
• Pick flowers that are half in bud, half in bloom
• Give your flowers a big drink before arranging them

Current opening times
Tuesday–Thursday: 10am–3pm
Friday–Saturday: 10am–4pm
Sunday & Monday: Closed

They’re open through mid/end October.
There’s no need to book for PYO but for the events and workshops check out their website.

Kids friendly with a play area and lovely to watch trains go by.
Dogs friendly but should be kept on a lead!

There is a toilet onsite and plenty of parking.

Pick Your Own is probably about to enter its best month ever. Thousands of dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, asters, sunflowers. The field is abundant with colours and choice.

Here is what we’re picking this week in our Large bucket 60-70 stems.

Hello September…. It has to be one of the most important months of our year, the great crescendo of the growing season, when the field is at its fullest, heady with the delights of dahlias, zinnias, cosmos and lots more. It’s also the start of the next, when attention turns to next year, seeds are being sown, plants and bulbs ordered.
