It’s always the most amazing way to conclude our World Finalist teams’ journeys - with a pit lane walk down the famous @f1nightrace track before the Formula 1® Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix begins at the weekend 🏎️ 🇸🇬

A circuit filled with energy and palpable excitement that mirrors that of our own students, it makes for a special few hours as they see up close just where their work in STEM Racing can take them - to the world of Formula 1®.

And, to top it all off, our top three teams were interviewed by the voice of F1®, @croftyf1, before being presented with their awards atop the iconic track podium by @pedrodelarosa_oficial and @davidcoulthardf1, making for a truly special moment as the national anthem of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia rang out for the first time to celebrate the 2026 Aramco STEM Racing World Champions! 🏆🇸🇦

If anybody was going to get on stage with the new Aramco STEM Racing World Champions @lynx_ksa, it was always going to be your backstage reporter @Tim.marchenko.lemonboy 😂

Capturing the pure adrenaline of the moment, he also spent the awards evening speaking with F1® team representatives to hear what they thought of the teams, students and competition... and to find out if Ravin Jain, Head of Race Strategy Operation as @scuderiaferrari was giving away any pre-race strategy tips ahead of Sunday (spoiler, no 😉).

Bringing back so many memories for Tim as he reflected on his time competing last year, it was a spectacular evening to close out the competition 🫶

Name a more iconic spot for an Aramco STEM Racing World Finals photo than beneath the main straight gantry, on the very track that will be lit up for the @f1nightrace this weekend… We’ll wait 💁‍♀️

The Singapore heat did nothing to temper our students’ excitement as they walked the very track their F1 icons will soon be driving, before taking a look at team garages as engineers and team members prepare for the race ahead 🙌

Some of our lucky award winners were even given behind-the-scenes access for an exclusive look at some of the activities that go into getting an F1 car race-ready with just 75 hours to go before those lights go out 🚥

What a phenomenal way to reward our students for their hard work this week. A huge thank you to Singapore Grand Prix and Formula 1 for making it possible and enabling a safe, smooth and unforgettable experience for more than 400 students this afternoon ❤️ taken in Singapore by @stemracinghq

Aaand here’s your Aramco STEM Racing World Finals 2026 podium 🙌🥇🥈🥉

@STEMRacing.de truly shone on the global stage, with two teams making it to the top spots - adding another chapter to Germany’s trophy-filled STEM Racing history, as @aixplosion.racing and @teamspectrum.f1 took 2nd and 3rd place respectively 🤩 🇩🇪

For @aixplosion.racing, their World Finals success went beyond their podium finish (although that was a pretty nice way to top it off), with the team also securing the @fia Scrutineering Award, the @williamsf1team-supported Best Engineered Car Award, and the Research & Development Award, supported by @mclarenf1 - truly phenomenal work across the board and making that extra luggage allowance a necessary investment for the flight home 😉

Congratulations to both teams, we hope you're incredibly proud of all you have achieved here in Singapore.
