We took “Daddy once said…” to another level! 🤣

There was even “Daddy once sang…”

And honestly, these are the beautiful things about celebrating a life well lived: the stories, the laughter, the memories and the little things that made him who he was.

The memories of the righteous are indeed blessed!

One of Daddy’s favourite songs was also rendered by his wife, and trust me, you want to watch this one till the end.

May his beautiful legacy continue to live on. 🕊️

My first paid gig as a professional MC was ₦5,000. 😂

At the time, I probably didn’t fully understand what that little beginning would become.

Today, when I look back at the journey, I realise that every big story has a starting point, and mine wasn’t any different.

The amount you are earning today does not determine how far you can go. What matters is what you are doing with the opportunity in front of you.

Don’t despise your little beginning. Give it your best, learn, improve and keep showing up.

One day, you might look back and smile at how it all started.

If I could meet the StepCompere of 2016 today, I would probably have so much to tell her. 😂❤️

From confidence to delivery, pricing, branding, communication and understanding the business of being an MC, growth has happened in so many areas.

And no, it didn’t happen in one day.

There were mistakes, uncomfortable learning curves, moments of self-doubt and times I had to unlearn things I thought I already knew.

One thing I’m grateful for is that I didn’t remain the same.
