After four years of hard work, growth, and unforgettable memories—I’m officially an Iowa State alumna. Thank you, ISU, for the opportunities, the lessons, and the amazing friends I met along the way. This chapter closes, but mi historia sigue. ❤️❤️❤️ taken in Iowa State University by @steph.diazz

Since it’s grad decision week, i’m so excited to finally share that i’ve decided to attend the University of Nebraska–Lincoln to pursue a Ph.D. in Human Sciences, specializing in Child Development and Early Childhood Education!
My passion for research ignited when I saw how often Latinx and first-generation voices were overlooked in the conversations shaping our world. It made me realize the importance of asking different questions, telling untold stories, and ensuring our experiences aren’t just acknowledged but celebrated.
At UNL, i’ll be working on research that supports early educators and caregivers, promotes healthy child development, and uplifts families in in communities that are often overlooked. i’m especially passionate about creating inclusive, responsive environments for young kids, because every child deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated.
Thank you to every mentor, professor, friends , & family who helped me get here. Your support means everything, I am beyond grateful for this opportunity🤍 by @steph.diazz
