September is Ovarian cancer awareness month! Don’t ignore the signs. This acronym is easy to remember because everyone loves the BEACH 🏖️ 🏝️👙☀️
B- Bloating that doesn’t go away
E- Early satiety- feeling full quickly
A- Abdominal pain
C- Changes in bowel and bladder For me constipation

Update:
It’s been a whirlwind since my last post. May was the busiest month EVER!
The first weekend we hosted a 🦞 crawfish boil graduation 👨‍🎓 party for Timmy and three of his best buddies. The best part of the weekend was all 5 of our kids were here to celebrate.🎉
The second weekend we headed to College Station for Sydney’s graduation from Texas A&M. WHOOP! 👍🏻We were able to be there for her senior pictures and also the physics award ceremony where she was awarded Outstanding Student. 🥳
The third weekend we traveled to Knoxville for Allie’s 👩‍🎓 Summa Cum Laude from The University of Tennessee 🧡We had a big graduation party with her 7 roommates and their families.
The 4th Wednesday Timmy graduated from The Woodlands High School

The next day I got my 4th chemo. Boy was it a doozy. The worst side effects so far of swelling in my face, hands, feet, ankles. Rash all over my body. Joint pain, frozen shoulder, my hands and feet peeled and just a heavy tiredness like I’ve never experienced. I think my body has HAD IT with this chemo!
The great news is my scans and bloodwork came back NED/no evidence of disease. My oncologist said she’s never had a patient be NED after 4 rounds. 💪🏻🩵💛
I will continue Avastin as maintenance therapy to keep the cancer away.
We are FILLED with gratitude 🙏🏻 for all of the answered prayers.

We had an amazing week celebrating @timmy_parke graduating from TWHS. St. Thomas and St. John were everything we could have dreamed. Highlights were Trunk Bay, Magens Bay, the Soggy Dollar Bar, truly unbelievable snorkeling, the Windmill bar, jet skiing, catamaran tour, lime out bar, fantastic restaurants and a little relaxation too… making memories for a lifetime! ❤️❤️❤️ by @steph.strong

Happy TWENTY FIFTH birthday @katieeparke to the one who made me a mom! 💕You’ve always been such a pepper pot, spunky, zesty, silly, full of life, surrounded by friends, beautiful, smart, ambitious, leader of the gang, life of the party, bringing dance everywhere, music loving, traveler, kind and deeply thoughtful, sister, daughter, aunt, dog mom, and friend. Most importantly you are faithful and Jesus loving. ✝️and his light and love shine through you. I’m so grateful that God chose me to share in the joy of everything YOU! It’s been an absolute pleasure to watch you grow from a baby, to an adolescent, to a teen, to a college girl soaring through LSU and making it out with NO TATTOOS from the National Championship, to a working lady in Dallas, where you are crushing life and surpassing all expectations!!!!
The best part of raising kids is getting to do life side-by-side with them as adults and Best Friends and no words can express how grateful I am for that. I love you to pieces ❤️🥳 by @steph.strong
