Recap post...the month of February was busy!

We spoke at three weekend marriage events over 3 straight weekends (we were gone or traveling to/from 13 days out of an 18 day period).

We closed it out with @stephanabledsoe delivering her first Sunday sermon at @heritagekychurch , after which, 8 people decided to follow Jesus!

These young men right here… ❤️

I am so incredibly proud of them!

Watching them wake up early to be at church by 6:00 a.m. on weekdays and 9:00 a.m. on Saturday for 21 Days of Prayer has been such a blessing. Seeing young people intentionally pursue a relationship with the Lord is a beautiful thing.

I’m so grateful for a church like Heartland that creates a place where the next generation can grow, lead, and boldly rise up in their faith.

Father, thank You for raising up a generation of young people whose hearts are fully devoted to You. May they continue to seek You first and shine Your light everywhere they go. 🙏❤️

What a weekend! 🏀🎶❤️

We had the best time in Rock Hill watching Joshua do his thing on the court at his AAU tournament. Seeing him play is always our favorite part, but this weekend was packed with so many other fun memories too.

We enjoyed some really good food, shared lots of laughs, and then topped it all off by scoring last-minute tickets to see one of Joshua’s favorite artists, J. Cole, in Charlotte! Talk about the perfect ending to an already awesome weekend.

Now we’re headed home tired, happy, and with hearts so full. So thankful for these moments together. 💙

If you haven’t heard me say it…I am a grateful Mama. This one here always obliges us and all of our shenanigans even as we tried to quickly get 1st day of the internship pics on his way out of the door Monday. His patience and steadiness at all times is an inspiration to me. Keep being great…keep being you, Son!
