A year ago, I packed up my tchotchkes and moved back down to Australia—this time, for good. 🇦🇺I feel so lucky to call this beautiful country my new home, especially because I get to share it with my sweet loverboy @fatpleb (and Barnaby, of course!) 🐨 Thank you so very much to new friends and old who have welcomed me with open arms, and to my loved ones back in California for supporting me and coming to visit—with a special, extra corporate shoutout to @surfline. While sitting in Teams meetings doesn’t necessarily make it into the adventure highlights video, the ability to work the same job at a company that I love from 7000 miles away has genuinely made this move a million times easier. Now pretty please, if anyone from the Australian government happens to follow me, will you grant us that permanent partnership visa so I can stop checking the immi website 10x per day?! 🦘 taken in Australia!! by @stephanieschechter

Living overseas, I’ll jump at any opportunity to visit, “back home.” On my way back to Australia from the @surfline global conference, I got to see friends and family, surf my homebreaks, and eat my weight in tacos. 🌴🌮

I also had the privilege of showing @issycroker my little slice of heaven, as she wrapped up a California road trip in Encinitas. Plus, we worked on a couple of special projects, including shooting these photos for @solsistacollective 📸🌞💙 taken in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, California by @stephanieschechter
