This time last year I went to my very first Formula 1 race: the Singapore Grand Prix.

A lot has happened since then.

And before I immediately move the goalpost again, I wanted to take a second to appreciate that.

I think sometimes we spend so much time working towards something that when it finally happens, we barely stop to take it in before we’re already thinking about what’s next.

I’m definitely guilty of that. What about you?

So anyways, this is me appreciating a moment I worked really hard for AND also an important little reminder to look back every once in a while too!!

You might be further along than you think.

Today I turned 39.

If you’d told me two years ago that I’d be starting over and building something completely new in my late 30s, I probably wouldn’t have believed you.

After becoming a mum, I found myself looking for the next thing. Not because I stopped loving fashion, but because I was craving something that would challenge me again.

Something that would make me curious and unexpectedly, that thing became Formula 1.

The funny part is that even though it felt like i was starting over it never really felt like starting completely from scratch… and instead it felt more like a natural continuation.

Everything I’d spent the last 16 years learning in fashion, from branding and marketing to storytelling, partnerships and content, suddenly had a place in a completely different world (just with super fast cars).

Sixteen months later, The Grand Prix Life is slowly becoming the kind of Formula 1 coverage I always wished existed.

And your support means more than you know.

Thank you for following along, sharing the stories, reading the articles, listening to my POVs and believing there’s more to Formula 1 than what happens on the track.

And if turning 39 has taught me anything, it’s this:
You’re never too old to become a beginner again. ❤️‍🔥

Kicking off the Singapore Grand Prix weekend in true Ferrari style! ❤️

We spent the day at Casa Ferrari with @skinceuticals, enjoying three floors of Ferrari hospitality, incredible views overlooking the pit straight, delicious food, cocktails and even a much needed beauty pit stop.

A huge thank you to the SkinCeuticals team for inviting me to experience it all.

What a way to kick off the Singapore GP weekend!

More from inside Casa Ferrari coming soon including a closer look at how high performance beauty meets high performance sport! 👀
