POSTS STORIES REELS

I haven’t done this in a while and thought it is about time to present myself…

Half French and Spanish, born in Germany, I feel at home wherever I am, as long as family is with me 😊

I started my career in investment banking. I pushed myself hard, barely sleeping, going out for dinner parties (often). Skipping meals (often). At one point I just felt empty on the inside. I felt I was living in a golden cage.

My health started to go down. Constantly sick, headaches, stomach aches… and my inner light was slowly dimming down. I had no choice but to look at what my body was telling me.

I started reading and learning about holistic health, especially through the work of @paul.chek . And by just applying the basics of it, I healed myself.

It became my passion. The power and magic of the human body in its entirety. Still to this day, I am blown away by how perfect this all is.
I studied at the @chekinstitute and got certified as a Holistic Health & Lifestyle Coach, and in Integrated Movement Science.

I took a pause when I became a mother. A new role I had to step into. Had to learn even more about holistic health for babies, toddlers, kids…
And conscious parenting. I also enrolled in a few workshops on lucid dreaming that helped me get through the short nights as a new mother… 😊

Today, I offer private online health, lifestyle and nutrition coaching. Fitness/exercise programs when possible. I organise online workshops and take part in retreats occasionally.

If you feel connected to this story and are ready to take the next step to better health, and a better life, feel free to reach out.

Observation with a current client I’ve been coaching for 6-7 months now.
She came to see me because she needed help.

A busy, successful woman handling a demanding career. Several kids. She’s been through some real losses lately, without much support on a daily basis.
She does it all: the organising, the birthdays, the holidays... always the one giving, never able to say no.

She was chronically fatigued. Overwhelmed. Carrying a grief she never had time to feel.
Her eating was erratic, lots of delivery, barely any routine. Bloated, unwell most of the time. Irritated, a bit low. But she kept going.
Her labs came back « ok », except for one thing: she was becoming insulin resistant. Pre-diabetic type 2.

That’s when she contacted me:

Yes, her eating got more balanced. Her meal timing improved. We worked on her sleep and evening routine. She walked a bit more.
And above all: she started setting boundaries. Learning to say no, to protect the energy she barely had left. Preferring chill evening at home rather than late dinner parties.

After a couple of weeks, she started to feel the difference.
She’s less inflamed now. Bloating is better. Sleep is progressing, slowly. She understands she needs time for herself too.

In my coaching, it’s never just about food and exercise. It’s about life habits, mental attitude, core values, priorities. It’s about putting your true self first.
There’s still a lot to work on with her, but progressing slowly and surely is the safest way, long term.

You can’t outwork a bad diet. You can’t expect lasting results from food and exercise alone. Your sleep, your mood, your mental health, your happiness, they all matter just as much. by @stephcuesta

When I say that I am a holistic health, lifestyle and exercise coach… people pause.
Or make weird faces 😊

And then I have 2 seconds to explain what it means, and I must say, I am getting better at it, but it is not always… straightforward.

I mainly help people feel better in their bodies. Whether they have weight issues, sleep problems, chronic fatigue, or suffer from a health condition and feel the need to take care of themselves but don’t know where to start.

From experience, many come to see me for weight loss or because they want to become stronger/fitter. Or they come because they have tried everything before, but nothing has worked.

The most ironic part is that, yes, they end up losing the weight or getting stronger, but most of all, many of the chronic problems they had disappear. They feel more connected to their bodies than ever, they finally understand them and feel empowered.

It is their overall health (and energy!) that improves. Physical, but also mental and emotional, because, as you probably know… they are all linked.

My job is to help them understand the signals that their body has been sending them. And give them the tools to answer its needs.

All the info is on my website. Don’t hesitate to send me a message if you feel it’s your time to thrive.

There’s more to this exercise than meets the eye.

I often include it in foundational strength and conditioning programmes.

It challenges the deep trunk and spinal stabilisers, while improving coordination, balance and control between the upper and lower body.
These are essential qualities for moving efficiently, maintaining good posture and building strength that carries over into everyday life.

For people who have experienced persistent back pain, rebuilding strength and movement confidence can be particularly valuable.
Following back surgery, exercises need to be adapted to the individual’s stage of recovery and medical guidance.

You can start with a simpler variation, kneeling and without a Swiss ball, depending on your current level.

Strength isn’t just about your prime movers.

A well-designed programme considers your history, previous injuries, movement patterns and individual needs.
Train smarter. Not just harder.

When this lady came to me, she was mostly looking to lose some weight.

After a few pregnancies, a busy career, she had never really taken the time to take care of herself.

But what I first saw was: her exhaustion, her will to always do more and be better for others.
Yes, her body was already sending her signals: it needed a pause, some care, another rhythm and some lifestyle changes.

She thought she was eating healthy, but her body didn’t like the food it was receiving, and she was denying the signs.
Those past years living on the edge and not sleeping well were obviously taking a toll on her thyroid.

Yes, I did start training her once a week, focusing on overall body strength and balance.

At the same time, we changed some eating and lifestyle habits. Taking care of her gut, her digestion, her hormonal balance.

Within a few weeks, she started feeling the difference.
Yes, she was less bloated, but above all, she felt her energy coming back.

The way you feel, the energy in you, always comes first. Weight (fat) loss is a side effect of true health.

If you don’t know where to start, reach out.

Please unfollow if my approach doesn’t suit you!

If we work together, I won’t be the one making the change for you and making it happen.
I will give you all the tools and understanding you need but you will be the one doing the work, for yourself.

There are no magic pills and if someone offers you one, know that it always comes at a high cost.

My view on health is holistic: you might have back pain, I will consider gut inflammation and not only look into the alignment of your vertebrae.

The more I coach people, the more I learn. We are all different and our bodies are unique.
But there are common things that all bodies need to work efficiently: physical, mental, emotional balance.

Welcome to my world if you haven’t unfollowed yet 😊

Many people ask: how do you manage to keep doing it every day (I don’t), every week?

How do you start again even after weeks abroad and off?

Where do you find this motivation to wake up and go to the gym?

Well…
Sorry to disappoint but there are more mornings where I’d rather stay longer in bed or just chill on the couch than go to the gym.

The answer is not motivation.

The answer is pure habit.
A routine you put in place and that you don’t need to question anymore.

I don’t go to the gym every day. I go regularly, depending on the weeks, the family schedule, holidays…

One thing is for sure: when I am back home, it is easy to go back to my routine because this is what helps me feel good. I don’t question it anymore. I don’t try to convince myself that I should stay at home and skip the gym. I just go and do it because this is what is planned.

Also: I enjoy being there. Strengthening my body in a functional way feels great to me.

Find something that lights you up. That makes you strong, functional, more resilient to the outside stressors.

If you need help to find your way, reach out.

Something I see regularly in the women I coach…

Most of them are brilliant. Successful career. Family.
A supportive partner. Or happily single.

On paper, a “perfect” life.

The catch? Their health. Chronic issues: fatigue, digestion, back pain, thyroid issues, unexplained weight gain, hormonal imbalance…

Their mental health also takes a toll. From a driven energetic person to the shadow of themselves. Little by little, they consume themselves in a routine that doesn’t allow them to breathe, where the mental charge takes too much space.

It is often after months or years of pain with no solution from the conventional health system that they come to me.

The ones who get the best results? The ones who finally prioritise time for themselves, for their own physical and mental health. Setting boundaries, and having a supportive system around them.

And little by little, step by step, they re-breathe. They find themselves again. They can feel the shift quite early in the process.

You don’t need to be alone in figuring out how to change your lifestyle, your routine, and how to feel finally better again. Reach out.

One thing I talk about a lot with my clients during the holistic health coaching sessions, is about listening to our body.

Listening and observing the signs.
Sometimes they are so invisible they can be easily dismissed.

But our body is always talking to us.
Every day, all day.

Not easy to get there in the middle of a busy day, but it is worth the pause throughout the day. by @stephcuesta

I am the only one performing this type of “bench press” in the gym.

Lots of people look at me, interested, curious. Some come and ask questions. Some just look away like “too weirdo for me”.

But performing this type of bench press is so much more powerful, efficient, and also respectful of your body!

Your scapulae have the space to move the way they are meant to, avoiding injuries compared to the bench.
Your whole deep core muscles ignite. The whole chain. Forward and back.
Your glutes help stabilize your pelvis.

It is a whole body exercise focusing on the press pattern.
A true functional way to move your body.

If you want to train smarter, not just harder, send me a message.💯💌 by @stephcuesta

I’ve been there, done that.

Learned early on about the calories. About how to avoid fats at all costs.
Slowly but surely, those thoughts started dictating my life.

Only the less calorific foods. Barely any fats.
Less calories were more important than organic or nutrient-dense.

I depleted my body from everything it needed to function.
I never got so skinny or sick that I needed care. But it was totally borderline.

What changed (and saved!) my life? Debunking the myths about calories. Understanding what nutrition is. How our body works. After 1 day, I already felt better.

Trust what nature gave us. Real foods.
Food can be our best medicine, but our worst poison as well.
