Celebrating the 7 year itch with @mrtomgordon

Just like last year, we trotted to #Brighton with no plan but a child-free day.

1. "Cheese!"
2. It went in!
3. One way to confirm your brilliant choice in partner is to play Air Hockey and still be smiling when you lose
4. I just love me a penny machine. And even more so a #CoronationStreet one
5. Eat under cover as they will aggressively steal your chips
6. The rust was worrying, but we braved the "Crazy Mouse" just like we did 7 years ago in our wedding outfits.
7. Then, seaside days with the babes

Not featured is our trip to see #TheInvite - Can't recommend enough. Go go go ! It is incredible. So funny yet nailbitingly awkward - it pulls at all your emotions. by @stephdewhalley

And so #DoctorWho is out for tender! The legends that have steered the helm will be greatly missed, but here's to the exciting next chapter.

Thank you to all the incredible people I've met along the way. To all the Whovians have shown me such love - it's wonderful meeting you all.

Looking back over an incredible time, here's a clip from #doctorwho youtube and some production shots by @jamespardonphoto

A laugh, and a privilege, to lead the @mischiefcomedy Clowning Course for professional actors. 🤡

With our last class a week ago, I thought I'd share some moments. Did I shoot this in portrait ready for Insta? Of course not. Just being true to my Millennial self. Here it is none the less.

Can you guess any of the clowning games or moments from #PeterPanGoesWrong?

Through finding your inner clown, working on status, masking, timing and other key clowning aspects, we giggled, explored and worked on scripts from #PeterPanGoesWrong which I was Assistant Director on for the 2023/2024 UK Tour, West End run and Latvia productions at @daile.lv

Thank you to everyone for bringing such brilliant energy, openness, and for making me cry with laughter every week. Thanks to organiser extraordinaire @GarethTempest amd @danceatticstudios

Also in the course was Shilpa Varma (untaggable).

All footage taken with actors' consent.

Workshop Leader Announcement 📢 @stephdewhalley

We’re delighted that our How To Approach Comedic Text - 6 Week Course from April will be led by Mischief’s Steph de Whalley (Peter Pan Goes Wrong, Magic Goes Wrong).

The final spots remain on this course, taking you through understanding the classic clown archetypes (Auguste, Bizarre, Naive) to mastering status dynamics, using scenes from Peter Pan Goes Wrong to help illustrate the power of status shifts in comedy, and more!

After the Flood Series 2 is out now on ITV and Britbox. Or catch it weekly on Sunday evenings.

It was an honour to play Harriet Benson across the season. Who would have thought I'd play Alun Armstrong's daughter one day?! My little mind is blown, and my heart is full.

Directed by legends @azhursaleem and @tommckay

Written by the wonderful Mick Ford

Produced by @fionamcscallister (cannot thank you enough for being so approachable and generous with your time - a dreamboat to work with).

Hair and Makeup by @emmapartridgemakeup who kept me chirpy and smiling everyday. (And gave me the sleekest hair!)

Thank you
