Now, let’s get into this FIT darlings!! 👄💄💋

I’m very proud to have created this outfit in collaboration with my dear friend, @yakinewyork.

I designed the piece and came up with the concept and Hamdi and I collaborated on the execution. 💕

I was inspired by the late @manfredthierrymugler and his “butterfly dress” (last slide) for this outfit. Hamdi, Sean, and I all went to go see the @muglerofficial exhibit at the @brooklynmuseum and it was breathtaking.

I’d had some black wings lying around from previous Halloween outfits which happened to have an articulate and bendable frame, so I used those as a base to build this design off of. 🪶🖤.

I’m very proud of how this came out and touched that it could be the beautiful story of two friends inspired by incredible fashion. 💕
