THROUGH THE LONG GRASS
Spray paint on canvas
90cm x 155cm

Morden Hall Park is not a traditional park. Here nature is rebellious, unpredictable, and charts its own course. It is an urban oasis, full of ancient trees, wetlands, hay meadows, and abundant wildlife. This green haven, which was recorded in the Domesday Book, feels like a little drop of wilderness in the middle of London.

‘Through the long grass’ celebrates nature finding its space within an old industrial landscape. I hope you take a moment to veer off the path, notice the places where buildings meet branches, and peer down into the murky reed beds.
Take a little walk on the wild side. 🪵
This original abstract landscape is available to purchase.

While my paintings are abstractions, they are deeply rooted in the structural truths and organic rhythms I uncover through continuous observational drawing. These are a few recent examples captured when out and about in London but also including visits to :

Studio Update: ‘Pathfinder’ is officially SOLD! l am so incredibly grateful to the collector who snapped this one up from my recent exhibition, ‘A Little Walk on the Wild Side’
This piece is a deeply personal abstract reflection of the rejuvenation and wonder experienced when we disconnect from our screens and make our way back to a deeper connection with nature.
Seeing my work find their people is the absolute best feeling. With pieces moving quickly, I still have a few original abstracts available from this series resting in the studio.
Feel free to drop me a DM to explore the remaining collection or enquire about pricing before they’re gone!

HUNTING GROUNDS
Acrylic on canvas
100cm x 100cm

Inspired by walks through Morden Hall Park and along the River Wandle, my intention with this piece was to capture the energy, movement, and atmosphere of the park's wild spaces. From reedbeds and wetlands to towering trees and hidden corners, I hope it invites you to see familiar landscapes in a new way.

While this specific painting is sold, the journey isn't over. There are connected pieces available in this same series that capture this beautiful landscape.
If you’d like to bring the energy of the Wandle into your own home, send me a DM to see the remaining works in the series or to ask about pricing.
