Just sick to my stomach tryna process it all bra..I could never even speak our story in its fullness cause it’s just too much.. The good & the ugly. First off, I love you bra. With all my heart I love you. Me & you first met 11 years ago & even then nobody could believe that we hadn’t known each other for an entire lifetime. Wherever they saw me...they saw you. These past 24hrs just confirmed with everybody reaching out to me that we had a brotherhood that even strangers could see & I thank you for that. We grew up together man...Anytime you needed me I was right there & vice versa. I remember you asking me to be Banx’s godfather & I looked at you like you was crazy cause nigga I had already appointed you that. You was at the hospital all night with me while my son’s mom was in labor. Never complained, never looked tired...you was just there. Prob cause you knew I was scared af🤦🏾‍♂️ when Banx was born you held him with so much pride & love I could feel it. Bra pulled up with so many gifts I was like damn he serious. You checked in on me more than anyone at the time. I had Banx for the first month after his birth by myself when his mom was in the hospital, you’d drive over just to come sit with me & that meant the world to me bra cause I was stressed & tired. Again bro if I haven’t told you thank you enough, from the bottom of my heart thank you again.

Fast forward to 2018 me & you fell out pretty bad. Regardless of who was at fault you was my brother, we both were hurt & we got pride issues through the roof. New Years Eve 2019 you reached out to me & from there we started fixing thing little by little. Pride truly is the devil dawg but I’m so glad we got it right. Shit I hate we even missed out on that year & a half but I appreciate you cause you changed the way I view my friendships. Sunday we FaceTimed & I just keep replaying us talking about Banx birthday coming in a couple days & you saying “I gotta do better by my godson..lmk what y’all doing” I got your kids 4L bro & I mean that. I never wanted my brother to be my angel but I guess I don’t have a choice now huh..I love you bra. Never goodbye always see you later thug 💔 dark_rico_ by @stephengreen88

What a year it was for us. As a competitor it’s always tough to come up short in anything in life..the goal was a state championship..we came short of it but the road was filled with everything that I cherish. Thankful for my players that accepted hard coaching & tough love at times…and a coaching staff that allowed me to be me. The best thing you can do for your players is put your arm around to tell them & show them daily that you care by showing up everytime.

Never let a hard time humble us💫
