Music for a tropical level in a platformer by @stephenmcgrathbass
For the month of November I'm going to post more bass playing. I'm pretty sure that's why most of you came here originally by @stephenmcgrathbass
Here's a little documentary I made about recording our latest AA side on 1/2-in tape in Meath with @leon.stax.equation . I recorded the full documentary on an old digital camera. So that retro look is just as real as the tape saturation on the music by @stephenmcgrathbass
Full video for Zapion Sirto a traditional song with our Oud-Rock twist Recorded fully on tape by @leon.stax.equation and video by Georgina Creamer ( Crystyll Designs ) and David O Grady ( Asterisk multimedia ) with gimbal shots by @dusanhoza Bass - Stephen McGrath Oud - @livingstoneaury Drums - @jamie_ryan_drums Mandolin - @richiedel_music by @stephenmcgrathbass

What a night 🌙✨ We are still taking it all in after Enter The Night on Kickham Plaza, Clonmel. Floored. 🫠 Nine young Tipperary musicians took to the stage as Wannabe Frank, after two months of rehearsals, songwriting, arranging, mentorship’s and gelling as a band. Johnathan, Killian, Michael, Peadar, Harry, Fergal, Kit, Zoe & Callum… Damn. You were absolutely brilliant. Watching you take to the stage in front of a huge Clonmel audience was something we will never forget. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. 🥲🧡 A massive congratulations to our musical director - Stephen, you poured so much into this band and it showed. To @sarahbroccoli , @cathal_macgabhann and @maykay316 for giving their time, experience and energy to the project. And for those knock out performances last night. 👏🏼🧡 A massive shout out to Stagecraft Youth Theatre’s young performers who brought @tomcampbellart masks - made for CJAF26, funded by @creativeirelandtipperary - back to life on the plaza last night. 🎭 The night started with the incredible @s.t.a.t.i.c_h.a.z.e , a Music Generation Tipperary band who wowed everyone. 🙌🏼🧡 And finally Clonmel Community Choir for that huge finale - take a bow ✨🧡 So many people were involved in making this night happen & we really want to acknowledge that. @artscouncilireland through @culturenight late and @tipperaryartsoffice for funding the project. To our project partners @musicgenerationtipperary , @stagecraft_yt , @tipperarybotb @clonmeljunctionfestival and @clonmelcommunitychoir . Thanks to @tipperaryetb for the green room, @cticlonmel for the parking, @thecoachmanclonmel for a perfect rehearsal venue, Recall Security and Clonmel Civil Defense for keeping us all safe. Our partners in divilment @dbl.ie and @e_b_audio for the staging, lighting and sound. @deinternetuser too. We love you guys for real.🧡 Lastly to Liz, Fiona and Melanie in the Tipperary Arts Office for believing in our vision. 💐 We set out to give the next generation of Tipperary musicians the opportunity to be supported and to be seen. Last night, we got to see it. And it exceeded all of our expectations. 🙂‍↕️🧡 WNWM x 📸 @kevin_odonnell_ by @stephenmcgrathbass
What an honour it has been to be the musical director for culture night 2026 in Clonmel. We held auditions in July to form a supergroup with first rehearsals early August. Its's been an honour to work with such an amazing group of young musicians and they have learnt so much from our guest artists @maykay316 @cathal_macgabhann and @sarahbroccoli . Massive shout out to Eoin and Kate from @whennextwe_meet for coordinating it all. See you all tonight at the kickham plaza at 9pm . by @stephenmcgrathbass
