POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I spent a week playing Sepi in The Mummy and these unbelievable make up artists spent 4 hours a day making me look like this. The attention to detail and levels of talent are insane @emilybilverstone1 is a master of her craft! Unfortunately the scene was eventually cut from the final edit but that’s showbiz. The plus was having @tomcruise tell me I did a great job and I got to see and work with someone at the top of the tree and the neg was not seeing the scene and realising that I’m not much taller than the main man confirming my fear that I’m not actually 5ft 10 at all 😂 HAPPY SUNDAY! by @stephenuppal

The most important person in my life is gone. Mummy Uppal is an inspiration and the glue that held our family together. She raised 9 children alone and created a successful business which is still running 40 years later. She is the kindest sweetest most selfless person I have and will ever meet. She is our life our blood and our soul. We will honour her and everything she taught us with nothing less than 100% vigour and stoicism.

I will love you forever and do EVERYTHING IN MY POWER to keep you alive.

EVERYTHING I have and the man I am today is because of you.

THANK YOU MUMMY. I’LL see you tomorrow.

If anyone would like to pay their respects please share this post and the details of the ceremony on the second slide.

If anyone would like to donate to Zoe’s place here’s a link as mum always protected those who were vulnerable and couldn’t provide or protect themselves. She adored children.

🎹 The piano journey continues... Grade 5 passed!

EXAM PIECES.
1. Spiritoso
2. Someone You Loved
3. Jackson Street Blues.

Six years ago at age 41, I sat down at a piano for the very first time.

Today, my ABRSM Grade 5 Piano certificate arrived.

Was it the result I was hoping for?

Honestly... no.

I was aiming for a Distinction, and I was gutted at my result.

But after a little perspective, I realised something.

This certificate isn’t the destination. Certificates don’t make artists.

It’s just another step to getting better.

✅ Grade 1
✅ Grade 2
✅ Grade 3
✅ Grade 4
✅ Grade 5

⏳ Grade 5 Theory
⏳ Grade 6
⏳ Grade 7
⏳ Grade 8
⏳ Beyond...

I’ve always believed that life is about staying curious and continuing to grow.

Whether it’s acting, writing, filmmaking, fitness, martial arts or now music, I never want to stop being a student.

That’s also why I choose to share these moments.

Not because they’re perfect. But because they are flawed.

Not because I’ve “made it.”

But because I think it’s important to show the work behind the dream.

The missed targets.
The frustrating days.
The small victories.
The gradual progress.

Too often we only see the finished product. We rarely see the years of quiet practice that came before it.

If someone scrolling through these posts decides to start learning an instrument, get fitter, write that first page, or simply believe they’re not too late to begin...

...then sharing my own journey has been worth it.

One lesson.
One practice session.
One day at a time.

The journey continues.

Onwards to Grade 6. 🎹

Anyone who read this far believe me “There is no such thing as impossible. There is always a way” so go and smash your dreams and don’t let anyone or anything put you off your path to your happiness.

Happy weekend!!!! Om@out to celebrate tonight! taken in Uppals Off Licence by @stephenuppal

Please share and tag anyone who maybe able to find this monologue for me.

ArtsEd Arts Ed @followers @highlight ArtsEd London Can any of my ArtsEd family help me find the monologue the 2nd year boys had to perform for our voice end of year exam for Rob Jackson. CLASSES from 200-2007 probably had to do it too. It started something like this

“AND THERE WERE LOTS OF PLUSSES, I GOT TO QUIT A JOB I HATED, STAY AT HOME ALL DAY AND WATCH TV. I MET ALOT OF DOCTORS AND LEARNED ALOT OF BIG WORDS. AND THEN THERE WAS EXCITING TRAVELLING I GOT TO DO. THIS BOX HAS A SOUVENIR FROM EACH AND EVERYONE OF OUR TRIPS, WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE? ….”

It’s not from the torch song trilogy as I read the play recently and the monologue wasn’t In there. It’s a beautiful piece and I really wanna film it. So any help would be appreciated PLEASE SHARE!

Thanks. 🙏 by @stephenuppal
