Nobody asked but here’s my American girly studio setup when painting in the Italian Alps:

#Marlboro barn mural - side 2 ♦️

My wonderful client collected retro Marlboro man ads all throughout her life and dreamed of having a billboard for herself one day. Instead of using a random model, we decided to use her on her horse, Brother, with her sweet doggy at his heels.

It was an a honor making her lifelong dream of being the Marlboro Man come true.

Fun fact: Aside from the reds, I only used 4 colors for this mural. Deep dark brown, medium brown, orangey brown & cream, I try to avoid using black as much as possible.

First slide is the 2nd mural I ever painted.
And the 1st of many Dolly peices over the last 7 years.

Among all the incredible and selfless things she did for so many, I’ll always be grateful for the small part she unknowingly played in my own story. Painting her helped launch my career and opened doors I never could have imagined.
