I just took the updated to tamale act class.
for cottage food producers …

I actually don’t think that tamale act is very good at all
and not really that helpful

mostly because you can ONLY do ONE “time and temperature” (TCS) food item at a time
(like they should make that 3 or 5 or 10)

and it doesn’t really help you if you’re trying to sell that one TCS item out of your home / porch
because of the holding times
(it’s really only useful for “events” , like farmers markers )

and then the income revenue limits get drastically reduced
from a NET of $10,000 per item,
(which is almost unlimited - at least in the number of items you could apply that to)
to a max of $150,000 GROSS
but if food cost is 1/3 of your business
that’s really only a revenue of about $100,000

and I’m not clear on / still fairly confused about what is considered a
(5) variations,
especially when it comes to baked goods

sorry,
but that’s how I feel.

I feel there’s actually more negatives than positive
because, really , the only positive is
that you can (only) do ONE TCS item.

I mean to me
the biggest issue are

- why change the income revenue

and secondarily
- why not allowed more “time and temperature” (TCS) items?

especially a Democratic president towards Republicans?

Trump is such a narcissist,
a pathological, liar,
and an extremely dangerous fascist dictator.

The reason he’s doing this is
cause he bought up a bunch of domains based on SI instead of AI

so he’s purely doing it to make money for himself
like hundreds of millions of dollars
that’s it

that is how corrupt Trump is.

You’re on his enemies list
if you don’t 109% support him in, making money off his presidency.

Instagram is completely cracking down on the words that can use.

I don’t doubt if it’s an algorithm that doesn’t let me say anything negative about Trump or Republicans

like I can’t use the words like
lies and
ignorant and
fascist.

It’s so outrageous like

especially in what I’m saying is true

where are my first amendment rights?

flavored salt
in this case Tomato salt

peel the skins off your tomatoes
Let them dry out
put them in a spice grinder.
(I usually add a little bit of salt to help them break up )

then when it’s done
add as much , or little, salt as you like
(to taste)

i’ll do this with
hatch, green chilies
and even peaches by @stephgriff_1

want interesting flavored salt
(&/or finishing salt)

don’t throw away your skins

- dry them out. (low oven setting)
- Grind them up in a spice grinder
(and sometimes add a touch of salt to the spice grinder)

mix them in with salt.

these are

Hatch Green Chili
Peach
Tomato

(it adds a subtle flavor)

I haven’t added more salt to these yet,
and you can add as much or little salt as you like
to your, desired flavoring by @stephgriff_1
