I did a lot of reminiscing my senior year and it taught me to live the days I go through by enjoying every day God has blessed me with.

I started weightlifting my sophomore year so I only had 3 shots at going to state. my first year I didn’t make the cut. my second year, I wasn’t able to go to state because the school I competed at wasn’t even in FHSAA. and this year I didn’t just go to state, but I walked away as state champion. don’t give up even when it seems impossible.

I’m most grateful for the coaches who made this possible: @joey_dino @coachgam904 @_autumn.makelifts.null_ —without them, I wouldn’t be where I’m at today.
thank you to everyone that has been by my side through this journey. my best friend, the friends I made along the way, my friends at home, my teammates, my competitors. I love you all and I will miss being by your side.

this is proof the Lord answers prayers.

no matter how long it may take, He will still answer.
I don’t normally post like this but I feel the Lord heavy on my heart to do so.

3-4 yrs ago, I was in a very lonely season in my life, and had just gone thru so much. being in school during that time was very hard, along with being in friend groups that were not good for me spiritually. I always felt left out even knowing those friends were not believers (actual followers) of God. I was confused, broken and felt so lost.

I wanted a best friend, one who gave God glory in all they do, one who would push me closer to God and who would hold me accountable always. knowing in this world there aren’t many like that.
I started constantly crying out to God, praying and warring for myself day and night. I’d be up at 4am praying, I’d be up late at night praying in tongues, declaring the word of God over myself and asking God for specifics. when doing so, I knew it’d most likely be a while (not 3 years lol) for an answer but, I kept praying and warring.

3-4 yrs later- GOD HEARD. GOD DELIVERED.

my senior yr of high school was very challenging, I gave up on a lot of things but, I never gave up on God.
4 days after graduation, I went on my first missions trip to Peru, (little did I know my prayer would be answered in a third world country.)
on the last day of the trip, on the bus on the way to the airport, I was in communion with God, (Steph) was in communion with God as well. God spoke to us both at the very same time. we had been praying for each other all these years not even knowing one another. God answered both of our prayers in this very day.
now, this is my best friend, Stephanie, my answered prayer.

It may have taken 3 yrs but He heard me and He delivered.

I don’t know who this is for, but I hope this gives you a little more faith in whatever season you are in right now. God is still faithful, He hears you. be patient and be content in HIS timing. keep seeking, keep pushing with all your heart and all your mind. HE WILL DELIVER. by @stephgriffith_

I went 3/6 and left a lot of weight on the platform. Leading into the competition, training was going very well and I had high hopes, but things felt a little different with that altitude 💀 I met some great people and had a great time in the beautiful state of Colorado. I was invited to go to a different country (for the first time) to lift and share my testimony alongside a team of people I didn’t even know. I said yes before I even had time to think about it, which had me questioning why I was supposed to go. God provided me with far more than enough funding to be able to go and never ending support from those around me. But I still didn’t know why I was going to Perú…

During the short time we were in Perú, I made connections so deep that it feels like I’ve known these people forever. God encouraged me to step into His calling for my life through my new friends: Angela, Daniel, Gonzalo, Christina, and many more. Getting to know these people changed my life in a way I didn’t know it could be changed.

About 90 people gave their life to Christ and 7 people got baptized this past Saturday. Wow. Each one of us were there for a reason that only God knows. taken in Iglesia Vida Jicamarca Peru by @stephgriffith_
