Call me Mrs. Nery. by @stephh.nery
If there’s anything I have learned from the last 6 months it’s that I needed to get off this app- put my pen to paper again, and let the words bring me back to a sense of reality. That I needed to sit at the table with real people with real tears, real prayers. That I need to sit with God, in the quiet, and set down my anger and confusion and devastation. He’s always there. Thank God. I’m not sure I’ll ever get back on here but I’ll share the words I’ve been holding in this season on Substack if you’re ever curious. 🤍🕊️ link in bio. by @stephh.nery
Solomon”Sollie” Valor Nery- 08.05.2026 You lived your name. 7lbs 14oz, 20.5in 🤍 Our hearts ache with grief at his loss, 13 hours with him, too short yet filled with a joy that cannot be described with words. See you in eternity, our beloved son. 🕊️ by @stephh.nery
“Yet hope returns when I remember this one thing: The Lord’s unfailing love and mercy still continue, Fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise. The Lord is all I have, and so in him I put my hope.” ‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭21‬-‭24‬ There have been many days this pregnancy where I have felt weak, in despair, and anxious. But so many more days where I have felt strong, filled with hope, and filled with peace that surpasses understanding. That to me- is a supernatural pregnancy. Without pain, no, but with a hand of honesty and a hand of faith. I have carried both with a resolve of a mother. I don’t know all the answers to what is going on with our sweet son, and quite frankly neither do doctors, God has the final say and I am ok with that. I don’t know what tomorrow holds but I know that this child is my gift from God and I will continue to cherish each and every moment I have with him. What a blessing to celebrate him today 🤍 by @stephh.nery
