THANK YOU, GOD. 🙌🏽😭 For carrying my baby. For protecting him. For every closed door we didn’t understand and every door You opened that only YOU could open. For hearing the prayers I prayed out loud and the ones that were nothing more than mama’s tears. You have been so faithful. 😭🙏🏽

And our village… 🥹 How do I even say thank you? You prayed for Adrian, poured into him, encouraged him, corrected him, celebrated him, and most importantly—you loved my child. A mama will never forget the people who genuinely love and show up for her baby. I will carry that gratitude forever. 💙

Now, I’m watching my baby prepare to leave for FAMU and step into a dream we have prayed over for years. 🥹💚🧡 For everyone who has asked how they can support him, we’ve shared his wish list.

But more than anything… please pray for my baby. Cover him as he steps into this next chapter. 🙏🏽

Today marks a whole new milestone for us, TEN YEARS of marriage. Ten years ago, God gave me one of the greatest gifts of my life — you. 💙
Through every high and low, every lesson, every prayer, every laugh, and every tear, we’ve continued to choose each other over and over again. And that is something I never take for granted.

Thank you for loving me patiently, protecting my heart, standing beside me, and building this beautiful life with me. Thank you for being my safe place, my answered prayer, and my best friend.

These 10 years have been filled with growth, grace, unforgettable memories, and a love that has only grown deeper with time. Happy Fathers Day to my sugar pie. God has blessed you with such a beautiful heart. I have been blessed to see your burning for others and your Shepard heart. Thank you for stepping in, stepping up and stomping on every generational curse. Because of your obedience and faith in our Father, our sons walk in freedom. All praises to God for this incredible season of Adrian’s college applications and journey. 🙌🏽🎓

Since October, we have watched God move in every detail — every application, every conversation, every moment of waiting. Even when his top choice was delayed due to a transcript hold, we knew it wasn’t a denial — just part of God’s perfect timing.

And what a testimony it has been… Adrian was accepted to all of his choices. He received on-the-spot acceptances, and more than 73 universities and colleges extended direct offers. To include: Morehouse, Howard, FIU, Tuskegee and FAMU. Only God could orchestrate something like this.

We thank every leader, every teacher, and every counselor who has had a hand in his journey into manhood. Your guidance, wisdom, and investment have mattered more than you know.

To our village — thank you for your prayers, encouragement, support, and covering over him since October. We truly felt it every step of the way.

Nothing would be possible without our Father Yahweh. He opened every door. He made every way. We are excited to see what God has in store next.

Week 2 of 52
A week of rest and healing. Norovirus got the best of AJ and I for a few days. Prayer, liquids and family time was so refreshing. Prayer night set us in the right direction for laughter and healing. Super boy Jaxson turned 5 (time flies) Healed up just in time for Sunday’s POWERFUL message. Pastor T came with 🔥and no apologies needed! 💙.
