We got a special BTS look at Haunted Harvest in Lillington, NC, and let’s just say this is not your average haunted trail.👻🖤

The second you step foot onto this 50-acre family-owned farm, the immersion begins. Original characters are lurking right out in the open before you even reach the trail! The trail itself is wildly creepy and detailed... so much so that I screamed the entire time, and @hostheatherdiscoveries ended up splattered in fake blood! 👻

Haunted Harvest is family-owned and every character is an original creation based on real NC folklore. They do an incredible job immersing you in the journey and scaring you all along the way.

If you’re looking for a killer way to get into the Halloween mood, visit their website and get your tickets now because the season opens super soon! 😱🎃

Personally I’m a summer girly, but my kids love a farm! 😂 If you’re looking for a few local spots to get your fall fix, these are three of our favorites that we visit basically every year:

🌽 @naylorfamilyfarm — September 19–November 1 and truly a FULL DAY situation. Corn maze, pumpkin patch, haunted (but family friendly) hayride, petting zoo, giant slides, jump barn, animals and SO much more. This one is always a favorite for us!

🐐 @spring_haven_farm — aka the place where you can CARVE A PUMPKIN WITH GOATS. Need I say more?! Pumpkin carving with goats runs September 20–October 31, plus tons of other farm activities, animals, tractor rides, gems and fall fun.

🎃 @phillipsfarmsofcary — open for the fall season starting September 19 through Halloween weekend, with corn mazes, pumpkins, animals, rides, bounce pillows, apple cannons and approximately 87 other ways to entertain your children. 😂

All three have enough activities to make a full day out of it, so definitely check out their websites for tickets, schedules and all the details before you go!

We celebrated Evelyn yesterday, and that alone says so much about the kind of person my husband is. He spends his days putting everyone else first, loving us big, showing up and delivering for our family, while somehow making it all look effortless. ❤️‍🔥

Happiest of birthdays to my best friend, my partner in all of this chaos, the best husband, the best daddy, and the strongest guy I know. We’re so lucky to love you. ❤️

In April this year, I finished a piece that I started ten years ago. 🥹

Back then, it was just Ariana and me. I still remember Robert freehanding with a sharpie for the first time and me sitting there like... “this is either going to be amazing or a terrible decision” 😅 But even before he finished, I knew he’d be the only one I’d ever trust to keep adding to this story.

So grateful that we were able to stay connected on socials all these years. And in April, I added Josh’s, Evelyn’s, & Jack’s birth flowers to complete it. 🥹❤️

And we have LOTS of cabinets, so maybe you don’t need 24! 😂

But seriously… swapping out your cabinet hardware is one of my favorite ways to make a kitchen feel instantly more elevated without spending a fortune.

These crystal knobs were around $50 for the set and they make such a difference. ✨ It’s giving ✨expensive kitchen✨ without the expensive kitchen price tag.

It’s been announced! September 19th and our favorite family pumpkin patch is BACK… and if you’ve never been to Naylor Family Farms, consider this your sign to make plans. 😍🍂

We love it because it’s SO much more than just picking out a pumpkin. You can spend the whole afternoon here with:
🌽 Corn maze
🐐 Animal feeding
🏰 Bounce houses
🌾 Corn crib
👻 Family-friendly haunted hay ride
🎃 ALL the pumpkin patch vibes... and more!
