16 months with this little diva. Saylor traveled up and down the east coast, got lots of pool time, learned a new dance move, and has been loving to accessorize. She rode a boat, met a sea lion (not at the same time 😂), and savored Rice Krispie treats in an airport lounge (prob not the best idea on my part- sticky fingers for dayyyyyys). She has lots of teeth, climbs on everything, and sleeps when she wants 🤷‍♀️. What a joy she brings to our lives every day.

Saylor is 15 months old (I’m a few days late!). She made her first international trip with her good pal, Mickey. She’s definitely a summer girlie and loves to be at the pool or in the ocean (she’s not a huge fan of the sand though tbh). She has yet to start speaking her mind, but she understands it all and follows direction when she feels like it 😂 She loves to dance, climb, and snuggle up with mama. Doing her best to keep up with the big kids and make everyone laugh while she’s at it.

14 months of Saylor Rae. Learning to run, getting more teeth, sleeping through the night (albeit with a middle of the night transfer to my bed - I know, I know - I’m a sucker!). She loves a good stroller walk, traveled on an airplane again, and thoroughly enjoys a dip in the pool. Time is a thief.

Another month gone by (I’m only a couple days late) and Saylor continues to light up every room. She visited the aquarium and attended her first wedding. She loves pizza and bananas, enjoys a good swim, got her first skinned knee (won’t be the last 😭), and discovered side walk chalk and bubbles. And finally, she’s sleeping through the night 🙌

A little over a week ago we celebrated the first birthday or our sweet Saylor girl. We went with the obvious nautical theme (how could I not ⚓️) and had so much fun with friends who came to love on her.

Currently 18.2 pounds and 27.5 inches tall, with a whopping two teeth. Saylor can walk, climb the stairs, clap her hands, point to what she wants, and (almost) blow kisses. She loves peek a boo, getting tossed in the air, being outside, and anything to do with keeping up with the big kids. Her favorite foods are bananas, yogurt, Cheerios, and avocado toast. Favorite toys are the remote to the TV (she can tell real vs fake) and anything you can build for her to knock over. Nicknames include Say Say, Baba, Pickle, Sweetness. Favorite song: Lose Control by Teddy Swims.

Hard to believe it’s been a whole year since we welcomed this angel baby to our family. It’s hard to imagine what life was like without her. Babies are such a blessing and she has made our lives so much fuller 🫶🏻 by @stephlibertyparker

One week ago I graduated from a doctorate program at Palmer College of Chiropractic. I am officially Dr. Steph Parker, DC (!!) 🤩

I wish I could say that the past 3+ years were easy. That I never once wavered in my commitment. That I consistently had confidence in myself and my abilities. That I never broke down in tears. But I’d be lying.

The truth is, this program challenged me in ways I didn’t expect and I wouldn’t have been able to get through it without the support of my classmates, my mentors, my family and friends, and of course Russ and our children.

I am grateful to my classmates who welcomed ”Momma Steph” (an endearment I once resisted, but now whole-heartedly embrace) as a peer. The ones who helped me study for Boards and OSCE’s and worked with me on technique. The ones who didn’t mind me always talking about my kids and their baseball or gymnastics or other activities and the ones who made a point to tell me they were inspired by a momma going back to school (your words were sometimes the encouragement I needed!)

To my friends (and family!!) who have been cheering me on along the way and celebrating every little win (finals, white coat, boards- lots to celebrate over the years!). Having people root for me truly made a difference.

To my mentors who never let me forget the “why” when I was on the brink of giving up.

To my parents who sacrificed so much to help care for the kids and who taught me that sometimes all you can do to keep going is put one foot in front of the other.

To my crazy kids who dealt with a stressed out mama for the past few years. Their big hugs (and big signs) were my favorite part about each achievement.

And to Russ. The real MVP. His unending belief in me and willingness to often carry the brunt of responsibility at home made this achievement possible. He didn’t let me quit and for that (and so much more) I will be forever grateful. Here’s to having weekends back 🥂😘 by @stephlibertyparker

Our Saylor girl is 11 months old. She’s growing into a confident walker and is now walking more than crawling. She has her first tooth (it’s a sharp one- ask me how I know 😂) and its buddy won’t be far behind. She still loves to jump scare people, is learning to blow kisses, and is doing her best to defy gravity. Her favorite place to sleep is in the car or in my bed (who needs a crib anyway?). Soaking it all in because she won’t be little for long 🫶🏻

Ten months of Saylor! We traveled up and down the east coast for Christmas, hitting Palm Beach and then upstate NY (sunshine to snowy weather!). She loves to cruise around the furniture and use her walker to be on the go and upright, but isn’t quite ready to walk hands-free (so close!). She loves to jump scare anyone she thinks she can sneak up on and still adores her big bro. Sleep remains a struggle, but I know someday we’ll sleep again 🤪
