Growing up, the beliefs I created very effectively disrupted my relationship with myself. These beliefs buried in my unconscious mind sounded like “I don’t belong” “I’ll never be able to be good enough” “I’m unloveable” “Love=being hurt” “I don’t deserve to exist” “It would be better if I weren’t born” etc.

With a religious experience reinforcing that belief system, I first tried to create rules for me to live in that felt safe by NOT believing in a god. I remember talking to my therapist about how I wanted to be an atheist and she listened to my rant before asking me how I could be an atheist when I was describing spirit in everything. She suggested I might feel more at home with an Indigenous belief system.

I tabled the atheist discussion because she was simply pointing out what I told her- I could actually sense Source in everything; the trees, the air, the ground, the sun, animals, other people, MYSELF.

I started tiptoeing into personal development 5 years ago which lead me down a path I’ve dedicated to where I connected my love of science and spirit. I’m a certified trainer of neuro linguistic programming, I have a certification in mental and emotional release (r), and I love learning about quantum physics and psychology. In tandem, I completed a mentorship in psychic development, experienced psychedelic plant medicine with Shipibo shamans in Peru, and I regularly study ancient Hawaiian spirituality with permission to practice through an unbroken 28 generation lineage. My beliefs have completely shifted to empowerment. “We are connected” “Everyone is worthy of love and belonging” “I’m doing the best I know how to” “I’m so grateful to be alive” “I have an important purpose”

I’ve seen a lot of beautiful places, but this might be the most insanely stunning place I’ve been to so far. It looks like a fake Hollywood movie, but it’s real and only a few miles out from La Paz.
