“I have three dogs!” was my favorite thing to say for two years. It was always my fun fact, and gave me the chance to talk about each of these sweet, special animals. I don’t get too deep on social media, but my dogs have been the best part of my life for so long, and it would feel wrong to not acknowledge some big changes. One year ago yesterday, we lost Amelia to an aggressive cancer. She was the smart one of the bunch, and did everything to make us happy. She was the definition of a good dog - I couldn’t imagine one better. Last month, we found out that our baby-est girl, Alana, also had cancer that was making her eyes look crazier than usual. On Oct. 17, we had to say goodbye again. She was always a tornado of a dog and thankfully never knew anything was wrong. She was just happy she got to eat nachos and pizza. I guess the point of this is just say to love your pets. Things happens so fast, and although we tried to do so many things with the dogs, it’ll never feel like enough. I also just really wanted to talk about them one last time. They’ll always be my girls, even if they’re not here by @stephpish22

One year with the biggest baby! The best part of every day and the goofiest girl. I couldn’t ask for a more special pup❤️ My Addie girl came from @angelsrescue. There are so many great dogs that need loving homes #adoptdontshop by @stephpish22
