I’m not going to lie- I’m Very Very proud of winning the Gold Medal for the Florida Book Awards in the Popular Fiction category. TERRA INCOGNITA has always been ‘the book of my heart’ and I followed my heart-after mountains and mountains of rejection- in creating this book by hand, in undertaking a massive, creative project so that the novel would finally be available for readers. To everyone who believed in me and the book, everyone who supported the project- thank you. 🩵🍾🥂🐦‍🔥

I’m still in major recovery mode, but I just wanted to say Thank You, so much, everyone- for all of the incredibly kind, thoughtful and generous comments and messages about this amazing new addition to our lives. Even though I haven’t had a moment (or the energy) to respond, every word has meant so much to me.

Oh, and Lucy is already a total warrior queen. Of course. ❤️⚡️👑🏹 by @stephpostauthor

The secret’s out....

Terra Incognita lives on with a paperback and e-book (from Blackstone Publishing!) release date of May, 2025. The handmade and book box project was my life and my dream this past year and now I’m excited to have the story of Terra Incognita available to so many more readers in 2025.

ARCs will be out soon, with much more information to come. (feel free to message with interest or with other requests)

For now, though, thank you so much to everyone who supported my Terra Incognita project- in all the big and little ways. None of this would be possible without your enthusiasm and support over the past year.

And a special thank you to Daniel Ehrenhaft and Blackstone Publishing for making this happen!

Cheers everyone!

Well now, look at this show off! Happy #turkeysnoodsunday from Lila! (Okay, she’s not actually showing off, but warning me away from her nearly-grown chicks lounging in the bush behind her….) Still, after a rough time brooding, molting and devoting all her energy to being a mama, it’s good to see that all her new feathers have come through and she’s looking so healthy again.
If you’re interested in turkeys be sure to follow along today and follow @5rfarmoregon, our resident turkey whisperer and champion, too!

Good morning from Snickers! He definitely has Stanley and Scrichy’s coloring… Though everyone here is technically free range, different groups hang out in different areas of the yard/field/woods and Snickers still sleeps with Lila in the turkey coop. I’m not sure if Stanley and Snickers have ever even met! I wonder what Stanley will think if ever realizes he’s a grandpa…. 😅 #yourmorningchicken #chickens #lakenvelder #chickensofinstagram #barnyard by @stephpostauthor

Sweet Theo had too much pumpkin yesterday and fell asleep in my lap on the porch. She let me pet and preen her for the longest time….. I think it was a rare quiet moment for both of us…. #yourmorningchicken #chickenlove #love #chickens #backyardchickensofinstagram by @stephpostauthor
