January 2021, I enrolled in paralegal studies while working full time + various side jobs. It was a challenge but I graduated December 2022, passed my licensing exam on the first try and was officially licensed as of May 24, 2023.👩🏻‍🎓
I decided to slow down and take some time for myself, surround myself with supportive people, work only the jobs that made me happy, and travel - lots & lots of travel!✈️
I am now back from my travels & back to reality but excited for the start of a new career! Catch me in court if you can! 😉👩🏻‍⚖️

This summer, I had the opportunity to visit the Saamis Tepee in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Standing beneath the World’s Tallest Tepee, its incredible scale and presence are impossible to ignore. At 215 feet tall and 160 feet wide, it truly commands the space around it.

It left me reflecting on the importance of making space for Indigenous voices, histories, cultures and truths to be seen, heard and acknowledged.

Today, we honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the lasting impact of the residential school system on Indigenous families and communities.

A day to listen, learn and reflect.

The people I connect with while travelling are always the best part. 🌎💙

This summer and throughout my Trans-Canada road trip, I was lucky enough to reconnect and spend time with old friends I don’t get to see nearly enough, and make some new connections along the way.

From Ontario to BC and everywhere in between, the moments shared are certainly ones to remember. ☺️
