This move has been harder than I’ve probably let on. 🤍

We’re still settling into California. I’m doing school drop-offs and pick-ups, karate, family life, building Theory Skin Co., taking my first clients, training in San Francisco, digging my work things out of storage… and somewhere in all of that, trying to settle me, too.

I didn’t come back with everything perfectly lined up.

I’m starting with what I have. Finding things. Borrowing things. Reusing things. Accepting help. Making it work. And slowly building again.

And the community at @_monzoenailspa_ has been so kind to me while I find my footing. That’s something I won’t forget. They’ve welcomed me into their space, helped me where they could, and given Theory a little room to start growing.

And then there’s Holly. 🤍

Coming back and getting to settle in with her first has been such a gift. She’s been incredibly grounding for me in a season where so much still feels like it’s moving. I get to learn, train, work alongside her and her team at @couture_aesthetics -and be reminded that I don’t have to figure every part of this next chapter out by myself.

There have been stressful days. Tired days. Days where I’m doing ten things at once and wondering how I’m going to keep all the plates spinning. 😂

But there has also been so much good.

Good people.
Open doors.
Little reminders that I’m exactly where I need to be right now.

And a whole lot of faith.

I’m learning that faith doesn’t always mean knowing how everything is going to work out. Sometimes it’s trusting enough to take the next step when you can’t see ten steps ahead.

So that’s where I am.

Starting messy. Working hard. Praying a lot. Accepting help. Taking care of my family. Taking care of my clients. And trusting God with the rest.
It’s only week one. 🤍

Still building. Still settling. Still grateful. Still going.

And just like that… I’m building again. 🤍

One box. One cart. One little room at a time.

After moving across the country and starting over back home in the Bay Area, I knew I wanted this chapter to feel different.

Simpler. More intentional. More me.

So I started with what I had. Unboxed the products. Built the cart. Made the bed. Organized the room. And yesterday, I welcomed my first client into @theoryskinco. 🥹

Is everything finished? Nope. 😂
But we’re open.

And after all these years in esthetics, I think that might be one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned:

You don’t have to have everything perfectly figured out before you begin. You just have to begin.

So here we go again. ✨
