Happy 7 years J! It’s a miracle we made it this far 🤣

This year we watched the Young Washington movie, took a quick trip to Bear Lake (ft our paddle boards, fancy tent, raspberry shakes, and s’mores) then came back and celebrated Austin turning 1! There were a lot of other fun little things going on between family birthdays, friend adventures, and family visiting. Shoutout to my parents for watching the kids this past week so we could do all these things!

But for real though, Happy Anniversary @jeremyvai! Love you 😘 by @stephvai

Baby Austin! Today is his “due date” but we are so happy he joined us early! And as you can tell from the second pic, Jaxon is loving being a big brother. 🥰🩵 by @stephvai

And there’s no better time than now as we begin the new year! If you’re worried that you’re behind, don’t be! We left each week blank for you to fill in with the date when you start. There are 52 weeks worth of goodness and you can start whenever you want, and you can also pause whenever you want. That’s the beauty of it!

The special thing about this journal is that it contains a balance wheel which shows you quickly the strengths and weaknesses of your relationship. That way, you can begin to make a plan to improve each area without guessing what needs help.

Wow, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything with my face lol. Feels kinda weird. Can you tell I’ve aged with all of those lines around my eyes? Man it’s been a year. 😅⁣
⁣
This year, one of my goals is to go to the temple every month. January will be the exception where I will try to go every week!⁣
⁣
Something I’ve been thinking about recently are lies versus truth. I had a distinct impression the other day to stop listening to the lies of the enemy and start believing the truths and promises the Lord has already given me. ⁣
⁣
It may seem easy to believe the lies that seem like truths now, and to wonder how the truths of God in your life could ever be or come true. Remember: God is NOT a liar, but Satan is. ⁣
⁣
Our timetable is not His. His is better. Our plans are not His. His are better. Our wisdom is not His. His is better. Everything with Him & Jesus Christ is better. ⁣
⁣
Trust me when I say, They are worthy of your trust. Believe Their promises. They want nothing but the best for you. They love you. ♥️⁣

HaPpY BiRtHdAy to our sweet boy! We love you so much! ⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
Some fun (and maybe not so fun 😜) facts about Jaxon:⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣
• He spent some time in the NICU
• He was diagnosed with colitis, but should be growing out of it here soon. 🤞🏽⁣⁣⁣⁣
• He has 8.5 teeth! ⁣⁣⁣⁣
• He doesn’t sleep through the night yet 🫠 but hopefully soon enough. ⁣⁣
• He is very close to walking. And I’m going to be in trouble when that happens because he already gives me a run for my money lol. ⁣⁣⁣⁣
• We’ve given him approximately 47 haircuts already. It’s as challenging as you think it is. 🤪 And yes, he came out with all that hair. ⁣
• He has the best laugh! He’s been so smiley since he was very little! 😄⁣⁣⁣⁣
• Oh, and he’s huge haha. He is significantly bigger than all of the other babies that were born around the same time he was. But we love our little chunk and are so glad he’s ours!⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Swipe for a surprise photo at the end. 😂🥳⁣⁣⁣

Jeremy and I spent a quick weekend in LA a few days ago with some friends. Shoutout to my parents for watching Jaxon so we could go. ⁣
⁣
Wasn’t as sunny as we had hoped but it sure beats the snow that is never ending here in Utah. 😅🥴 Wanna take bets on when Spring will actually come to Utah? At this point, I’m thinking we’ll be lucky if it ever comes haha. ⁣
