beyond the barrier is back again for part 2️⃣

this music photography exhibition showcases the underground togs of the heavier music scene; championing some female creatives making their name in this space. hosted and curated by yours truly, each person is hand picked, no messing about!! i’m so so happy to have @arbrose_ , @danievansmedia and @georgiavcollinsphoto on this one, some of the best ⚔️📸

all of us will have some pics on display over at @signaturebrewe8 for ONE NIGHT ONLY. absolutely unreal to host the second iteration of this exhibition here. big love to the @signaturebrew team for this 🖤 no big budgets, no bull 💩, just doing it for the love of shooting bands. plus my dear friends in @wearezetra will be doing a class DJ set, gunna be sickkkkk

BTB is not only a photography exhibition; it's also a representation of breaking through limitations. having the finances to start up or even maintain a substantial career, lack of industry contacts or living in an area that doesn't have an active and nurturing music scene. i grew up in swansea, wales. there was an amazing local scene when i was young but bigger artists barely ever moved through the city. absolutely unreal time living in birmingham for uni, shot for a few publications and built up a great portfolio of work. feeling like i'd failed for returning back home after uni, i almost gave up shooting entirely. cardiff wasn’t always easy to get to whilst balancing a retail job i hated that gave me no free time whatsoever. one night, i saw a sony music internship job going online and thought absolute fat chance of me getting this mun, they’re not gunna want some lil welsh greebo nobody lmao. lying about where I was to my job, i somehow pulled it off to go to all 4 interviews 🤫 unreal to think that internship with @mfnofficial was 7 years ago now, intern number 1. moving to london has absolutely skyrocketed my career, but that came with an unbelievable stroke of pure luck. grateful to be here doing what i love. exhibitions and art in person should be for everyone, not just the big names or those who have loads of money and influence.

guilt - in the body / tirus / before i go to sleep 🎥

3 songs in one vid which was crazy!! the creative freedom to add soooo many horror film references to films that inspire me creatively like SAW and Texas Chainsaw Massacre was so so fun. endless love to @your.guilt for letting me go wild with this 🖤
