It’s been a pour over take over featuring Mr. Stepwise himself! @stepwisecoffee
What a treat to pour down with Dalton as he walked us through his recipe + method. We explored two roast profiles of the same Burundi coffee, our featured bean of the month.

15 grams of coffee, ground around 850 microns.
250 grams of water with a double bloom.
- gentle swirl to 50 grams, pause 30 seconds
- gentle swirl to 100 grams, pause 30 seconds
- aggressive pour to 250 grams
- swirl/agitate if needed to slow down the brew
- aim for 2-2.5 minute draw down

This Friday July 31st!

Our friends over at @iconikcoffeeroasters are in town and will be taking over the shop Friday for a special service. @_chasems_ will be here doing some pour overs and we will have the espresso machine on and their blend in the hopper! See y’all there!!

This Friday!

Stepwise and Marygold are joining forces and loading up the cargo bike with some coffee and heading down to Crosby Farm Park!

We will be meeting at the Crosby park parking lot fire shelter at 10am. From there we will do a short walk (quarter mile) down to the water where we will have free iced coffee and lots of hot water to brew pour overs and play with some fun coffees we’ve been enjoying lately.

What to bring:

- Yourself
- A mug
- A camp chair
- Snacks
- Hydration (aka water)
- A brewer to brew with us!
- A dose of a favorite coffee you’ve been enjoying lately by @stepwisecoffee

a crowd favorite from last year is back! 🍇🫖

Masha washing station has consistently stood out on the cupping table for us the last few years. Juicy grape acidity, black tea, brown sugar and (lightly) toasted marshmallow. We are definitely excited to have this one on the menu while supplies last!

Reflecting on the year and how amazing it has been to spend time with everyone.
