Hyères 39th is now over, but it is still time to congratulate all the Finalists for their hard work. Thank you @villanoailles @jeanpierreblanc1 and your incredible teams for making this happen every year 🙏🏻.

For the fashion competition, congrats to the winners of the prizes @dolevelron @bichot_r @logan_monroe_goff @gaelle_lang_halloo and the special mention @talmaslavi ✨🏆✨

It was so nice getting to know this fabulous group of 10 brilliant emerging Designers, who supported each other throughout the whole Hyeres experience. 💙✨

To the Finalists : if you read me, here is another post-coaching advice. Please keep the souvenir of your time in Hyeres alive by applying in your career that same team-orientation you have demonstrated at the festival. Please remember that supporting each other and cheering on each other’s successes is really what you need to “make it” in this industry, or at least in the kind of industry we all want to see.

In response to continued growth and development, Sterling International welcomes
Ophélie Barassin as Deputy Managing Partner.

Ophélie Barassin brings a wealth of experience with 13 years in Executive Search, having been since 2002 an integral part in the shaping of Sterling International, from its inception alongside Michael Boroian. At the forefront for developing best practices in recruitment, she has a deep understanding of the Fashion, Retail and Luxury sectors.

Notably, Ophélie’s journey reflects her dedication to excellence and Sterling’s values and principles. As Deputy Managing Partner, she shall work hand-in-hand with Michael Boroian to manage the company and its four offices in Paris, Milan, Brussels and New York.

Ophélie Barassin is the latest senior executive to join at the firm, which last year named Alice Bouleau, head of the creative pole, as partner. Prior to that, it launched a digital pole and brought on Cristina Baruzzi, a former HR senior executive at Prada and Valentino, as partner in Milan.

Sterling International is excited to be working with Paul Smith’s Foundation on The Fashion Residency at Studio Smithfield – an innovative business development programme for fashion designers, realised in partnership with The Mayor of London, Projekt and supported by GQ.

Six designers will receive a free studio space for 12-months, combined with a comprehensive mentoring programme of over 40+ hours of group seminars and one-to-one tutoring in topics including legal, finance, production, communications and more, delivered by a team of industry experts.

Alice Bouleau @alicecuicui Partner and Head of the Creative Pole at Sterling International is honored to be one of the Mentors for this exciting programme.
