My Masters journey started in 2018, after I had got laid off from a position that I moved to a new city to start and I didn’t know what was next so I decided to start my masters program. I even took a year off in 2020 because well as we know Life be Life’n sometimes lol. Fast forward to last year I was in my 2nd to last class and the most important class of my program which was going to determine if I graduated or not when I went through my accident and had to withdraw from the class.

I was so discouraged when everything happened but I knew that I had came to far to give up completely. I jumped right back in and finished that class immediately the next term and was only set back a semester. I say this to say even when you fall you have to get back up, your race is designed for you and no one else. 9 months later I can say I MASTERED it. 🎓🎓 2x Degreed not to mention first Generation!

33 is personal and even more intentional! The way that I have been blessed to see another year, to reach another milestone and to over come so many challenges & never seeming to be left defeated. I can only thank the man upstairs for it all and ask that he continue to watch over me on this next journey. Happy Born Day to the lovely woman I call my mother. I can’t express enough how grateful I am to have such a wonderful mother.
