POSTS STORIES REELS
A few years ago, I was told I needed more credits, more connections, and more experience directing narrative films before I could take on something like this. Maybe they were right. Maybe I wasnā€™t ready. But at some point, I realized that if I kept waiting until I was ready, I might never do it. So I took my shot. LOST is based on the incredible true story of Mauro Prosperi, who got lost in the Sahara Desert during the Marathon des Sables in 1994 and fought to survive for nine days. Mauro trusted me to bring his story to life. And that, in itself, is something Iā€™ll always be grateful for. This short film is our proof of concept, the first step toward making it into a feature film. I donā€™t know where this journey will take us, but Iā€™m proud we took the leap. Because beyond the film itself, this experience reminded me of something: when people believe in an idea, come together, and give it everything theyā€™ve got, thereā€™s very little they canā€™t do. To everyone who made LOST possible, thank you. For your talent, your trust, your time, and for being part of something we believed in. We couldnā€™t have done it without you. And if youā€™re sitting on an idea, waiting for the right moment, for more experience, or for someone to give you permissionā€¦ Maybe this is your sign to just go for it. You donā€™t need to have it all figured out. You just need to start. This is just the beginning. ā¤ļø Starring @marcoboccireal Thea Maria Lollobattista Executive Producers @mauroprosperi @rebeccamorandi Producer @alessiogiurgola Executive Producer / Director @steveciccarelli Assistant Director @pietro.cornini Director of Photography @joshuamakela AC / Drone Operator @concaripaolo DIT / Editor @pietro_barba Sound Mixer @sound_of_tornitore Production Designer @adelebiraghi Carpenter Domenico Greco Head of Prosthetic Makeup @matilde_fumagalli Costume Designer @valentinabisco VFX Supervisor @eleni.guerrera FX Artist Kirolles Aziz Production Assistants @federiboh @etnaproductions @leovitali BTS Photography @akastickman Producer, Post Sound @mannymalanni Composer @fernandosarrias_ Special Thanks @elisabettaperin @michellebandach @milenascionti @fabianofederico by @steveciccarelli

The teaser of the short film ā€œIl Ragazzo del Cavalcaviaā€, directed by @pietro.cornini. Produced by @mauamedia Iā€™m honored to finally share it with you. This is another narrative project that is very dear to me. Shooting it was a challenge rain, short winter days, cold nights, but also incredibly rewarding. Those are often the conditions that make a project unforgettable. The film has been doing its festivals run, and I wish it the best of luck on its journey. Grateful to everyone who helped bring this story to life.
