Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the official opening ceremony for “Unearthed” a public sculpture installation by my sister-in-law @clareburson . It was wonderful to see all of her hard work and artistic vision materialize into a real deal spectacle. If you find yourself at the 145th street riverfront park in the next year, I highly recommend taking in all the sights including Clare’s fantastic sculpture works. by @stevedressler

I’m thrilled to be participating in @complex ‘s Minions Art Gallery as part of #minionsfest ! It’s an honor to be included amongst such a group of talented artists showing such a wide variety of styles and influences.

For my piece, I wanted to go off on an exploration beyond what might be considered my typical stuff. The themes of the movie and the spirit of play really pointed me towards the edges of the abstract. All in all, I just wanted to produce something fun to look at for such an exciting opportunity.

Thanks to all involved in making this happen including @jensenkarp. Link in bio. by @stevedressler
