I failed in order to find success over and over again and each time I learned something new to apply!

I didn’t wait for success to come to me I just kept trying and learning!

I didn’t wait to get there one day! I just won’t quit because life is full of amazing experiences with amazing people when we choose to go after it!

They support me, so I can support you! Wednesdays are “More than a Realtor” community days!

Today using the lease purchase to remove obstacles and give buyers and sellers a shot in the arm they might need in the current market.

I’ve used lease purchases in the $200k price point all the way yo $3.3 million!

It’s used to remove obstacles in my business for buyers and sellers who are looking for a solution the banks can’t provide at this stage of their journey!

I’ve experienced more than the average realtor in my career by 20x or more!
Buy, sell, flip, Crestive financing, wholesaling, commercial, VRBO, off market, multi family not only have I represented buyers and sellers in all of these I have personally owned and experienced all of this multiple times I my personal life which allows me to lead through personal experience not transactional experience!

I’m tired of being the entrepreneur pretending to run a business! So we are making changes from the emotional up and downs of an entrepreneur to the operational principles of building a sustainable real estate business!

My opinion is real estate is and can be an emotional business as we are dealing with people’s lives and the hardest and scariest decisions of their lives!

I’ve run more emotional than operational and now it’s finding the combination! I love people and serving them, but not at the expense of my company and my future. Operating from the heart can be an expensive lesson.

This is when sympathy overrides empathy and you carry the weight of someone’s story and situation with you.

Take time to Pause when your back is against the wall and the pressure starts to build and ask the tough questions and start to formulate your response! by @stevedvalentine

Meet my little brother Bob! It’s been a minute! Interesting share! We both are in recovery and we have both been in prison mine was for a night 30 years ago and his was for the last 10 years!

He recovered in prison and I recovered in my own prison! Similar journeys yet different paths lead us to a couple of sober bros!

Imagine no knowing your brother other than a drug user and now in our 40’s we are figuring out these new versions of ourselves we have never met! It has its challenges and I’m sure it will have its rewards!

We are all recovering from something that caused us pain! His was drugs, mine was alcohol and some was their marriage or relationship some death in the family!

Field trip with my 80 year old aunt! Come spend the day with me getting tattooed with @tonywhodoestattoos

She took me up on that invite!

We listed her home!
Talked about her next investment move!

Then shared a story with her about when her mom saw my naked photos @wendevalentine took on the same roll of film from vacation!

Gina got a hip replacement and a new lease on life so we are making the best of it.

Oh cool convo! She shared her 47 years of sobriety with my Tony who is almost 8 and I’m almost 3 years.

Can a father and son actually come back from the damage of an alcoholic father? We did. Here’s how.

My oldest, @christianzvalentine wouldn’t speak to me when I chose to go to rehab in October of 2023. I left my family for a month and disconnected so I could reconnect my head and my heart.

It’s been 2.5 years. Today Christian isn’t just my son again. He’s one of my best friends. We hang all the time now as family and as business partners.

2.5 years of devoting my life to being a better human. Here’s what we did to get back:

I lived out my words. I didn’t promise to be sober. I just showed up and did the work, daily.

We had hard conversations, weekly.
Most important he knows he can ask any question about my past without reopening wounds. I gave him permission to speak freely and respectfully.

Breaking generational chains starts with awareness. Some of my own mistakes might’ve been avoided if I’d had that same permission with my father to ask the hard questions.
I never apologized to anyone without first knowing what I was apologizing for asking how I damaged the relationship, and how we could correct it.

Last, but not least: I didn’t get sober for anyone but myself. Getting sober was the first phase in learning to live. I didn’t get sober just to stay sober I got sober so I could live a life without the label. I commend everyone who’s sober and has done the work.
