Feeling nostalgic.

Part 2 of 2

Like I said in my previous post. I can’t believe this was 11 years ago, October 12, 2012. My Junior year in High School. This was taken the day before our Regional Cross Country meet at Enid ,Oklahoma. Even though I didn’t qualify for state. I am so grateful for the memories like this one.

Fast forward to now. I’m currently out of shape. I do not recognize myself anymore. But I am working on it! I’m working to being back to that runner that I always love being. One day at the time. I will be feeling myself more and more again.

Feeling nostalgic.

Part 1 of 2

Can’t believe this was 11 years ago, October 12, 2012. My Junior year in High School. We were heading off to Regional Cross Country meet.

Growing up in a small town. It was great to feel the support not only from your school but the whole community. If you ever raised in a small town. You know what I mean. I have been blessed by being surrounded by such supportive people and grown up in a small town. No, it’s not perfect. That why we need the Lord. But there’s nothing like it either.

I will cherish my good memories in Boise City, Oklahoma.

Akasha World Kitchen in Yankton, SD

This is my first time eating here for lunch. I ordered myself their feature special for this week. The Salmon Burger. Let me tell you. It’s very DELICIOUS! I didn’t add ketchup or nothing! I just ate the way it is and it was soooo good. I also had the Cheese Blintz for Dessert. (2nd Photo) with a Rasberry Lemon Spritz (3rd photo). The dining experience is wonderful! The servers are great! I definitely plan to come back to try other tasty menu options. They are open for lunch Tuesday - Saturday. 11am-2pm. Go to their Facebook page for more information!

Trying Cafe Rio for the first time ever! I got myself a burrito with Sweet Pork Barbacoa meat. My mom and brother are sharing a plate of beef and chicken nachos. Why not also get a Tres Leches.

Definitely delicious! I can see why friends like it more than Qdoba and Chipotle! Which we have one near where we live! I’m just glad I got to try with my fam! 💛

Who doesn’t love some good fried Mozzarella Sticks? Especially stacked in a pyramid!

Enjoyed these Mozzarella Sticks along with other delicious food at the Fryin’ Pan in Yankton, SD. The only 24/7 restaurant in the area. They also serve some delicious desserts as well! You can also buy a full pie here if you want!

Went to a place called, “The Mint” in Yankton, South Dakota. I ordered something that caught my eye. It was called the Buddha Bowl. Let me say it looks and tasted delicious! Highly Recommend!

The description of the Buddha Bowl is “These bowls change weekly and are nutritious and delicious! The base is made up of rice or quinoa topped with chicken and freshly chopped veggies and various other toppings all drizzled in one of our house dressings. These are prepped fresh and made to order.”

This beautiful place also serve soup, burger, sandwiches, chicken strips and more! If you are ever in Yankton. You should totally check this place out! It’s only open at 11am - 2pm for now.

This is the Berries & Bubbles cocktail. I order this while I was celebrating my best friend’s (@tenacious_tony_bear) birthday back in July at Denver. Back in August 2020 in Dallas, Texas area. I ate at Bangkok at Beltline. Eaten many delicious food there. It ended being one of my favorite places to eat there.

In this picture was one of their special starter food. “Bangkok Crabsticks”. It is crabmeat, shrimp and chicken in springroll wrapper, deep fried and served with sweet & sour sauce. Also came in a beautiful presentation.
