Something started a while ago and freshly worked up. Didthul is the name for the mountain we know as Pigeon House. It means woman’s breast in the local indigenous Dhurga language. Maybe I responded to that idea a little too overtly with the flexible curve. As he sailed up the coast Cpt. Cook in 1770 saw it from the ocean and named it such, Pigeon House. Two landscapes are stuck in my brain. This one and Monte Rosa on Lipari, Aeolian Is. by @stevelyates

Early days of teaching A.R.T…….Engadine HS. A happy time of experimenting with teaching practice and trying to conform to the system. Super good colleagues and freedom to find your teaching mojo. Top photo of MoO hEaD… a band made up of 2 art teachers, a legendary revolutionary history teacher (on bass) and any music student who could play the drums on… you guessed it.. I was sad vocals.. Vic Morrison on lead and the glue that kept it together. We promoted upcoming events in the school with rock & roll punk made up on the spot no rehearsal 5 mins prep on morning assemblies. Still meeting X students round the traps who remember those times and comment how wild it was. by @stevelyates
