“Gotta Know About That” - That’s my Grandma right there in her Mary Kay Caddy. She’s how this song came to be. The day that @jonhutch @stevemoakler and I wrote this song… it was my first session back in Nashville after she’d passed. We shared so many stories about life, family, etc. and I mentioned how my grandmother was the first woman in upstate NY to ever win the Mary Kay Cadillac. The fellas let me spill about my childhood and this song was the product. So Jonathan, Steve, and @creativenationmusic THANK YOU a million times over. And to @theoffroadrecords THANK YOU a million times over for helping me give this song life and putting your hard and extremely dedicated work into getting this thing out there. I love you guys. This is just the beginning! 🫡

To whoever listens to this, loves it, shares it… THANK YOU. I hope you see a little bit of you somewhere in this song and when you do…. Know that my Grandma is rockin right along-side you in that Cadillac.

On October 23, 2026 - my new song “If My Heart Was A Town” will be yours!

I wrote this song with my friend @stevemoakler, and I’m so happy that his voice is a part of it! I’ve been a fan of his since forever.

This song marks the beginning of a new season for me and I’ve been looking forward to it for a LONG time. So much to tell you!

Thank you for being a supporter and listener of mine. It means more than you know. Thank you to the family at @bydesignmusic for believing in me.

Pre-save my new song, “If My Heart Was A Town” now and you’ll be all set to listen on October 23!

With joy,
Jill

Thursday night was a reminder that hope is more than a word. 🤍

I had the opportunity to attend Harvest of Hope, benefiting the Nashville Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition - an organization working to rescue, restore and resource women and children impacted by human trafficking and exploitation.

And this isn’t an issue happening somewhere far away.

In 2025 alone, the National Human Trafficking Hotline identified 199 trafficking cases involving 324 victims in Tennessee.

At a time when conversations surrounding the safety, dignity and treatment of women are at the forefront of so many of our minds, organizations doing this work in our own communities deserve our attention and support.

NAHTC works not only in rescue and restoration, but also in prevention — educating communities on grooming, exploitation, warning signs and how to respond when something doesn’t feel right.

There are so many ways to help: learn the signs, share resources, volunteer, donate, partner with the organization or simply help bring more awareness to the work already being done.

Thursday night was a beautiful celebration of that work, the people behind it and, most importantly, the women and children finding a path toward healing and freedom.

Hope is here. And there is a place for all of us in this work. 🤍

Grateful to see “The Ringer” land on the new @laurenalaina album #Stages today. Co-wrote this one years ago with my friends @joshcjenkins & @mackcarpmusic, and I’m so pumped it found a home on this project. Lauren’s voice is 💯. Big thanks to my team at @creativenationmusic. Take it for a spin! 💍 by @joenoto
