To make B team criteria for next season is incredible, to do it on the Streif at @hahnenkammrennen, a venue that @amo_ski has dreamed of racing on since she was a u10, where one of her idols @daronrahlves has his name on a gondola …is … Priceless. Holy #%}$ @amo_ski made the US Ski Team!!!! 15 years ago I took my first photo of Allison skiing, it was her first time on skis, and Amy and I stalked her, hiding behind the bushes and trees to avoid detection. Little did we know the places skiing would take her, and the friendships she would make. We can’t wait to see where it goes next, but rest assured I will be there camera in hand for her biggest moments! taken in Lake Tahoe, California by @stevemollin

Ski racing….that was a good plan, that plan is dead, time for a new plan…Wow, what a week in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. @amo_ski scored a personal best 42 downhill points when she went full send on a bumpy dark track in Austria, and may have done enough to make ski team criteria (we are in wait and see mode for the next 4 weeks) either way I could not be more proud of her!! Unfortunately, today on the super-g start she dislocated her shoulder (hopefully minor, but time will tell). She is headed home with a smile on her face that may be hard to wipe away! Special thanks to @internationalskiracingacademy and an amazing coach Maruša for helping her out this week! Great coach and a great group of women! taken in Hinterglemm, Salzburg, Austria by @stevemollin

As I sit here on the deck overlooking Mont Blanc one way and the Matterhorn the other I reflect on the past week, from @amo_ski ‘s first Europa Cup Points in Chatel to her first European FIS podium, Europe has been an amazing experience. We are missing our breadwinner @amymollin, and now that Allison has actually won bread (ain’t Italy great) that makes me the only non bread producer! Her gift basket contained wine too….but the wise Italian coaches took all the wine!! A couple more days here then off to Crans-Montana. arrivederci for now! taken in Pila Ski In The Sky by @stevemollin
