For over 10 years I’ve been saying, “I’m going to get this set piece (that was given to me from season 3 of “The Electric Company”) framed.” I’m elated to finally say as of December 2023, it’s finally framed with a plate on the front that says “Electric Company 2010”. I might have had a tear in my eye seeing it for the first time framed. It’s traveled with me from place to place and it’s weathered many a move in the past 13 or so years of having it. It represents my time on the show as Paul the Gorilla perfectly and I can’t wait to have it up on my wall for the rest of my life. @the.electriccompany by @stevenjfreitas

RIP Glen Hansard. You wrote so many great songs. This is a very short one I happen to love. It’s funny. It’s real. He was such a genuine soul and a creative song writer who wrote the absolute best songs about love, life, heartbreak, and dealing with the ups and downs of this journey we call life. Hey—Happy New Year! To 2026 🥂
Here’s to growth and prosperity in the coming year. To family, friends, and our health—body and mind.

I don’t have a lot of pictures of me this year where I didn’t sign an NDA—no really—so here’s me next to my first redwood tree on a morning visiting family. I rolled out of bed, didn’t have time to shower, grabbed a coffee, and realized shortly thereafter that I absolutely should have packed another pair of shoes—and had to wear my glasses because my contacts didn’t arrive in time for the trip. I wore these nice boots straight out into the wilderness. So you get them getting dirty, paired with a half–thrown-together, mismatched outfit, on what was essentially a redwood hike about five minutes after waking up.

That felt like 2025 in general. Nice boots, challenged by the elements. Things not always going to plan. Small missteps, figuring it out as I went—and somewhere in there, choosing peace. Or at least the comfort of standing next to a very large, very calm tree 🌲💡

Let’s see… 2025. I had a milestone birthday. I worked on movie sets. I got a manager. I spent time with my family and good friends. I made new friends. I went to Puerto Vallarta twice. I spent a lot of time away from social media. I spent a lot of time in my car. I laughed a lot. I cried a lot. I wrote cliche instagram posts on New Years Eve, 2025. I said “no” a few times, and “yes” on the occasions where I didn’t say no, and sprinkled in a few “maybe”, because what else is the alternative to that? …and I grew a bit.

I’ll grow a bit more next year. Choose kindness. Have a great time with whatever you’ve got going on. 🎉 by @stevenjfreitas
