Canton Place Footbridge, Victor Harbor

From the first lines on the drawing to steel taking shape on site - this project was a great example of our team’s work from drafting through to installation.

Stevens Group played a key role in transforming the design into reality, working alongside Kent Civil to bring the new steel structure for the Canton Place Footbridge to life.

The project saw 7 tonnes of structural steel fabricated and installed as part of the new footbridge, replacing the existing timber structure.

Our team worked through the detailed drafting and structural steel process before seeing the design become a finished structure on site.

Seeing the progression from concept to completed structure highlights the value of detailed planning, precision fabrication and quality installation.

A great result and a fantastic transformation from everyone involved.

Prostek Office & Warehouse

Working alongside @emmettgroup, we helped deliver the new Prostek Office & Warehouse. A project brought together through collaboration, careful planning, and a shared commitment to quality.

Purpose-built for Prostek, the facility brings together specialised clinical, workshop, office and warehouse spaces designed to support the important work carried out by the team.

For Stevens Group, our scope included the supply and installation of 32 tonnes of structural steel, comprising:

• 27 tonnes of Hot Rolled Steel
• 5 tonnes of Cold Rolled Steel

From the initial drafting through to the completion of installation, our team delivered the project within 4 months, with installation completed in January 2026.

It’s always rewarding to see our structural steel form part of a purpose-built facility that will support businesses and their teams for years to come.

A great result for everyone involved, and we’d like to thank Emmett for having Stevens Group take part in this project.

Steel from our workshop to its final home.

For this residential project, our team drafted, fabricated and installed 6.5t of structural steel and 400m of purlin for the floor structure.

The customer recently sent us these photos and, most importantly, let us know he was very happy with the finished result.

That’s a job well done. Congratulations to everyone involved!

From steel on the drawings to a finished building full of activity - it’s fantastic to see the @stpetersgirlsschool's Emily Centre now being enjoyed by students.

We’d like to thank @partek_construction_interiors for nominating our Stevens Group team member Rob Tipping as the trade contractor for this project in the 2026 SA Master Builders Excellence Awards.

Although the project didn’t take home an award this time, the nomination itself is a great recognition of the work and commitment that went into delivering such a significant project.

Stevens Group delivered 305 tonnes of structural steel, with 10 weeks of drafting and 9 weeks of installation – a major undertaking as part of St Peter’s Girls’ biggest project to date.

A special mention also goes to our drafter Sean Hussel, whose detailed drafting and coordination were an important part of successfully delivering this complex project.

It’s particularly rewarding to see the Emily Centre now complete and being actively used by the students – the courts, performance spaces, classrooms and facilities are now places where students are learning, performing, training and creating memories.

Well done to Rob, Sean and the entire Stevens Group team involved in bringing this project to life. We’re proud to have played our part in such an important project for the St Peter’s Girls’ community.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming students and staff from @cardijncollege to Stevens Group for an industry site visit.

The visit gave students the opportunity to step inside our workplace, see our team in action and gain a firsthand look at what goes on behind the scenes in the structural steel industry.

We’re proud to support opportunities that connect young people with industry and help inspire the next generation of skilled workers.

We were pleased to welcome Year 8-12 students from @thomasmorecollege to Stevens Group for a behind-the-scenes tour of our business.

The students learnt about our operations, explored our workshop, and gained an insight into how structural steel projects are fabricated and delivered. It was a great opportunity to showcase the diverse career pathways available within the steel fabrication and construction industry.
