A glimpse into the making of Entanglements #08, my installation for the garden of the Luther Museum in Amsterdam.

Hands have been a theme in my work. I often think of them as our fourth eye: through our hands we perceive, understand and shape the world in ways that sight alone cannot.

In Entanglements #08, a simple gesture gradually merges with the landscape. The hands become part of the garden, suggesting a quiet continuity between ourselves and the living world. The work grows out of my ongoing research into the relationship between information, matter and energy, and our profound connection with nature.

Making sculptures is one of the ways I like to make visible the invisible threads that already entangle us with nature.

Thanks for the support @luthermuseum , @mrrose18 , @mondriaanfonds , @rijksakademie , @stevenvanteeseling

And a special thanks to everyone that has been helping me, my husband #sandertiedema my intern @saint.stygian my dear friend @mark.hosking and @hildeonis and #vikinagy
