ART NIGHT GROUP SHOW.
Saturday 9/13 The Art Night Group Show brings together a group of friends and artists that gather weekly in Laguna Canyon to create, talk story, and inspire one another. Everyone in the group is an Orange County practicing artist from a variety media including photography, painting, printmaking, illustration, woodworking, sewing, needlepoint, and leaded glass. This group shows dedicated to the memory of Micah Von Doring who was a huge part of the collective who recently passed away. Doors open at 6. Got to roll around today in LA. Always grateful using my body and mind to push myself past my fears of getting hurt. The feeling of accomplishment after some hard work is the best!! As I gear up for my full recovery and return to skateboarding I am reminded of its long term impact on my life. From childhood till now, through many ups and downs it has been the thread that has kept my life in focus. I’ve learned how to be a warrior and dedicate my life and body to something that serves my soul. I’m thankful for the pain and glory I will take to the grave. Come January I will be 100% good to go, I’ve worked extremely hard with amazing Surgeons and rehab specialists that have given me the confidence to return at full speed. All the footage you see from this point on will be post injury… I’m looking forward to the endurance and creativity lost while on the sidelines and hanging with all my warrior comrades again. #skatelife #lifeofillusion by @stevenwebber

For those wondering… the surgery went perfect yesterday and life is already back to normal. This is me an hour after getting home and seeing if my fingers still work. Thank you to everyone that showed me support through this injury. Ive been having a blast out here exploring Tennessee this last week. Hanging with my family, playing music with @switch.mongo.music and enjoying the beautiful nature and places this state offers. Im releasing a record shortly after I get home and it will be followed by some cool merchandise collabs and music videos. Playing with @switch.mongo.music couple weeks ago at @tomahawkhair 2 yr party. I was 11 days post op on a broken elbow out in Nashville. Had a fun couple days to figure out some keyboard arrangements. 30 days out of surgery as of today and I’m already playing some guitar.
