For my first big story back, For the @miaminewtimes I spoke with @pressurepoint.mp3 about the importance of @masisiradio, ancestral worship that guide us, and the importance of community and its scalability.

Thank you @florfrances for your patience and work on here.

Hope you guys enjoy the read! Link is in the bio and my story post by @steveoali

2024 stood out as a radiant year for music. Here are some of our favorite artists who dropped this year 🎨

Finally wrote something about music for the ThemHues Substack. Every week, I’ll write about 3-5 songs that caught my ear and highlight them.

I’m hoping this act of rebuilding this muscle I’ve been neglecting leads me to so what I love to do the most, which is writing features and doing interviews. But for now, I hope you enjoy this treat.

Didn’t think I’ll be alive for this long honestly, these hands tried many times to cut this date short. But alas I am here, grateful for everyone who still with me today, grateful for everyone still being alive, grateful for those I call friends and claim me as one, grateful for the shame because it made me realize how stupid I was, grateful for all the lessons, grateful to all the failures, grateful for all that lead me here, even though a lot of the times I don’t want to be here. Grateful for the coming and going that is life, because I’ve learned I’m still open to new experiences and connections.

I want my 30’s to be the start of my new life, one I don’t run from. I actually made 5 posters around this theme but I made em all in different sizes and I’m too lazy to change em right now. But I love living and love the pain, after the fact

Happy birthday to me, I love you all. by @steveoali
