Hello wonderful friends! I’m so excited to say that I will be having my Master I recital alongside Dr Shannon Hesse (pianist, collaborator, coach and educator extraordinaire) on Thursday, February 19th, 2026 at the Duncan Recital Hall at The Shepherd School of Music! Performing works by Modest Mussorgsky, Srul Irving Glick, Claude Debussy, Piotr Illych Tchaikovsky, Franz Liszt, Gustav Mahler, Richard Strauss and more. This recital is all about death, love, the cycle of life and resurrection. I’m so excited to share these beautiful songs with my colleagues, friends and family! This recital will be live-streamed and I am so excited to share my interpretations of the musical history that stands before me, and all of us. This music has deep sentimental value to me, and similarly to my graduating BMus recital themes of Vanitas, mortality, the fleeting-ness of life, and humanities value will be making an appearance (I’ll be posting my program notes closer to the performance date!)

Please join me in this endeavour, singing music and stories to unite all people across all languages and the arbitrary boundaries that divide us.

Big thank yous to The Shepherd School, my incredible team (Dr Rice, Alex Munger, Dr Hesse, Dr Chao, and the entire faculty at Rice music school!), my family, my incredible friends and everyone who has helped me pave this path into my master’s degree! My successes are not my own, and all of the incredible humans that have supported me are equally as valuable and important in my life as the gift of music is! :) @balabusta_living @innka.p @stevepastelan @abrahamalinea @cyanide_and_song @uretmarina @bsuzy8

thank you to my most incredible team ~ @robinrice907 @alexvmunger @shannon13584
