Today's #flashbackfriday is going back, back - wayyyy back - to last weekend.🗓
-
I got an early holiday gift🎁 when my ATL fam came to visit - some of the best times I have had in a long time! 🫶🏻😁
So grateful! 💜 Can't wait for next time! 💪🏻✨️

Capped off a busy holiday weekend🎃 with the *40th Anniversary* Re-release of one of my favorite movies of all time --- Back to the Future!⚡️⏰️✨️📽
(Yes, the movie and I share a birth year😅)
-
I have watched this movie several times but I still learned new things and saw things in the movie for the first time! Just goes to show you that your perceptions and awareness of humor and events changes with age as well!
(P.S. movie theaters have changed ALOT since I was last in them😯)

What a great time!

Still hurting.
Still healing.
Still growing.
Still grateful for the journey.

Thanks to those who picked up the pieces of what was left of that person when he was hurt and at his lowest😞
-
Thanks to that person for not giving up when it hurt the worst - when he was too afraid to show the world the song inside his soul💔
-
Thanks to the universe for not ending that broken boy's journey that dark morning🌫☁️
-
Thanks for Airbags and Good Luck, too🙏🏻🤞🏻
-
Thanks everyday now for getting to sing that song, even if it's a little different or off key🎶💜
-
Thanks for today, and the next day☀️
The best is yet to come🌈

Yeah, you're sick of all those other imitators.
Don't let the only real one intimidate you.
