Six days until Team Sprite comes together at Blood Cancer United's "Light the Night" walk on Saturday, November 7, 2026.

We will gather at Centerpiece Park in Century City, CA (Los Angeles). Site opens at 4:30 PM PST. Team Sprite will meet at 5:30 PM.

This countdown begins with HOPE: hope for progress, hope for every person affected by cancer, and hope strengthened when a community shows up together. Blood Cancer United is working to find cures and ensure the best treatment access for all blood cancer patients.

My very first concert was the punk band, the Circle Jerks.

I was excited to go and asked all my friends to join, but everyone said no to a punk show. My best friend, Frank, said yes. We were only 13, so we didn't have our driver licenses, so my brother in-law offered to take us.

As soon as I walked into the venue, I knew I was among my people. Spiked and colored hair, mohawks, a slam pit, the room tension felt like at any moment a riot could break out.

When the Circle Jerks took the stage, the venue electrified and the crowd went wild. I was watching kids climb on to the stage and when my favorite song "Wild in the Streets" came on, I couldn't contain myself. I ran over, climbed onto the stage, and did my first air christ stage dive! The crowd caught me and set me down. Right then, my brother in law grabbed my shirt and dragged me out of the show.

It was one of the best nights of my life! That moment in the air with my song playing changed my life. I would never be the same.

At Sprite Jam Oct, 19, 2026, I had the honor of singing "Wild in the Streets" with Lucky on drums. It was equally as powerful.

Never forget, you are the creator of your life. Your diet includes the foods you eat, the information you digest, and the quality of your self talk.

When we feel good about ourselves, we take better care of ourselves. We eat better, we think more positively, and foster goodness within and around us.

In the pic on the left, I wasn't quite feeling right. Not eating well, lots of negative self talk, and I hid it well.

In the pic on the right, I feel right. Connected to myself. Eating great, maintaining my machine, and prioritizing my mental health.

I know where I can sink to. I am familiar with my darkness. I know it lurks within me doing push-ups and getting stronger waiting for me to let my guard down.

That's why I am so vigilant. I exercise, meditate, practice intentional breathing, stretch, eat well, visit nature, and connect with others. I will do ANYTHING to prevent that feeling again. My life depends on it.

I am grateful a lot of people say I inspire them, but the truth is, we are no different. We just have different priorities.

Never forget, you are the creator of your life.
