My 5 year old biked 11 miles today?!? 🤯

Hudson wanted to ride 5 miles with me today.. 3 miles in and he said he was tired and wanted to stop, but he wanted to keep on moving forward towards his goal.
He hit 5 miles and decided he wanted to double it to 10.
When he hit 10 miles he wanted to go 1 more.. making it 11.17 miles total!

Last weekend was real special! Hudson had his 1st solo ministry trip with me.. and I’m pretty confident to say I think it far exceeded anything that he hoped it would be in his little 5 year old mind!!

I have a lot of love for my friend @tjwoodard - we were youth pastors in @smym.ag well over a decade ago and for years he and his family have been pastoring an awesome church in Poplar Bluff, MO.
————-
Hudson knows his brother and sister will go on trips with me and has been waiting and waiting and waiting for a trip he can go on with me too!
@bennettsvoboda & I told him back at the beginning of May that he would be going in his 1st trip with me.. he immediately went into his room, packed his bag and put it in the garage! Haha!

We had the best time with the Woodards, their team and meeting so many amazing people across their 3 Sunday services @blufffirst .. Huddy’s already asking when he can play again with his new best friends from “Bluff”!

I love getting to do life and ministry together as a Family, sometimes it’s all of us, someone’s it just me with 1 of the kids, but one’s things for sure.. we love this stuff and I can’t wait for the trips to come with my guy Huddy! taken in Poplar Bluff, Missouri by @stevesvoboda

National Youth Conference 2026 is in the books and was it ever a great week in St. Louis! This is more than just an event, it’s a place where you reconnect with friends from back years, some even decades back.. and meeting new friends! It happens every year at this event, and I’m grateful for that.
————-
The highlight at this event is always our @called.ag Dinner.. each year it’s something to look forward to and just keeps on getting better and better.
It’s weeks like this past week that make me so grateful to be part of Called and what’s happening across @ag_usa @agyouth and part of the lives of so many incredible people across the country!
I’m already looking forward to this event in 2027 in Orlando! taken in St. Louis, Missouri by @stevesvoboda

417 DONUT DASH

For years I’ve loved creating runs that are fun, unique & different than the standard 5k, 1/2 marathon or ultra. Some that I have organized have been solo, but I’ve realized that my favorite ones have always been with others, and when there is a cause that’s attached to it, it just makes it all the better!
————-
I love our Springfield community, and knowing there are elementary school students getting ready for the upcoming school year without things like a backpack loaded with school supplies, I wanted to help be part of making a tangible difference!
How would it happen?
By involving 2 things that I love.. running & donuts!
————-
After connecting with some of our incredible Springfield public elementary schools and the 3 best Donut shops in 417.. @springfieldparlor @parlordoughnuts @hurtsdonutco @stgeorgesdonuts .. I knew we could make a difference in students lives as the school year is approaching!
————-
So today was the day, 22 people registered for the 417 Donut Dash, and while we had a great time running and enjoying a donut from each spot (they were all so good!) the best part is knowing that as a result of today & everyone’s run registration, that we will be helping provide over 110 backpacks to elementary school students in our Springfield community!
That’s what it’s all about.

3 Donut shops in 3ish miles.. which Donut was the best?! Well, you’re just going to have to hit up all 3 and figure that out for yourself!

NORTHWEST YOUTH SUMMER CAMP

So grateful for @mdharder & the whole @nwyouth team for allowing me the incredible opportunity to be part of their Summer Camp season in Washington this past week!
And having my girl Parker with me just made Camp all the more special.
———
As each summer happens, I just realize more and more how impactful a week like Summer Camp can be in a students life! It’s leads me to do all I can to make the absolute most of each day.. early to late.. morning Run and Bible studies, to breakfast, lunch and dinner with students and leaders, game time, free time, late night snack shack.. even blobbing students - there’s nothing like the blob & getting blobbed!!! (check out the video of Parker blobbing me 🤣) so many moments that matter in leaders and students lives, and I count it an absolute honor to get the privilege of being part of any Summer Camp!

In all these years I’ve noticed something powerful.. God moves in a unique way at Summer Camp.. it’s happening and I believe will continue to happen!

While these 4 weeks of Summer Camp in 2026 have just finished up for me, I’m already looking forward to what God has in store for 2027 Summer Camp season. taken in Washington,USA by @stevesvoboda

40/10 Miles for Bibles Run 📖
——-
40 Laps on a 1/4 Mile track (10 Miles) to raise $10,000 for Bibles, for 9% of Christians worldwide who have never owned a physical copy of the Bible.
——-
The goal was $10,000.. as of this morning $15,314.42 has been given! To God be the glory!
——-
On Sunday, fam + friends (I wish I had grabbed a picture of the entire crew)
30+ people rolled through.. to make our miles matter and DO SOMETHING to change that 9%!
My little 5 year ran just under 3 miles.. such a champ!
For 20 yrs I’ve loved giving the Bible away to people! It’s a passion of mine that started in my early youth ministry days.

Fast Forward.. to February 22, 2021, I’m sitting in my place where we lived in New Jersey & felt God place this dream in my heart.. part of that dream involved Bible distribution to those who don’t have one.
——-
Fast Forward further.. to April 14th, 2026.. I’m sitting in a service in Kenya, seeing so many amazing students.. the ones that had a Bible looked like the pictures here.. ripped and damaged.. many without one!
I felt God lay this on my heart.. “DO SOMETHING..”
What really confirmed it was meeting 15 year old, Dickson, studying to be a Pastor, yet he’s never owned a Bible, so I gave him mine. Then thinking, I GOTTA DO MORE, and can’t wait to help countless others!

Fast Forward to today.. I LOVE what I do through @called.ag .. helping train & equip those who feel called to vocational ministry! How these Bibles will be distributed is through direct partnerships I already have through Called..
- With our AG World Missionaries in Kenya and across Africa
- Through my AG Church in Springfield with direct partnerships to Pastors in Ukraine / across Eastern Europe
- Across a few churches here in the United States.
Africa.. Europe.. USA..

Roughly $10 provides a Bible depending on translation & location being distributed, Bibles will look like the pic

Grateful for the opportunity to have been part of @mi_nextgen week 1 & 2 Youth Summer Camps in Michigan this past week!
Having friends like @raymondmarshall_ & @donovan_locke in ministry, just makes things all the more fun!

Summer Camp for me back when I was in High School was a time that God marked my life and moved in a powerful way.. seeing students encounter God along with my son, is just so special!
——-
Hearing students share testimonies of how they have come to faith in Jesus, physical healings, letting go of and experiencing freedom over pain and struggles in their past, to students who shared how they are going to live their faith out on their campus through @agyouthalive & others stepping into ministry as they feel God calling them to be pastors, missionaries, launch a non profit ministry and chaplain.. grateful for @called.ag stories like these!

40/10 Miles for Bibles Run (Bible Distribution)

This weekend I turn 40, and to celebrate I’ll be running 40 laps around a 1/4 Mile track (10 Miles) with the goal of raising $10,000 for Bibles!
——-
9% of Christians worldwide do not have a physical copy of the Bible of their own.. when I found that out, I knew I had to do something!
So this weekend, I’m making my miles matter and doing something about it!
