🤗🤷🏼‍♂️SHOUT OUT from me new bestie 🤷🏼‍♂️🤗
✨
Had a great time working with @sean_bean_official
On Robin Hood 💥💥💥💥💥💥
✨
Cast and crew loved him and he is disarmingly fantastic as the Sheriff of Nottingham in this show🫡
✨
🥳The other day he pointed out that I got the role in Last Of The Mohicans which he was seen for… and I pointed out that EVERY SINGLE film he’s ever done - I was up for and of course lost out to him…
✨
The funniest of which was when I auditioned for his role in ‘SHARPE’S RIFLES’ they were looking for someone to play Sharpe and lead the series…
✨
The audition camera was rolling, John Hubbard (casting director) was reading with me and half way thru - the office phone rang (pre mobile phones)…
John stopped the tape and said sorry Steve, I HAVE to take this ☎️
✨
All I heard was…
“He will? He’s accepted it? … Oh, that’s such great news. What a relief.”
- it was Sean’s agent accepting the role on his behalf…
-and I’m just looking at John, like…
“Er… I’ll get me coat then…” 🤓
✨
And literally every film and TV role Sean did after that… I lost out to him and soon after he became SEAN BEAN the star ⭐️
✨
🏹 Was a genuine pleasure to get to work with him this year in Robin Hood.
Check it out if you can
@mgmplus / @amazonprime

❤️SAM NEIL❤️
✨
Sometimes you get to work with the greats 🙏🏻
✨
Not only a fine actor but a kind and gentle soul 🙌🏻
✨
Those who followed him will remember him almost single-handedly getting us through the unknown concerns of the lockdown with his calm optimism and easy humour
✨
What a man 🙌🏻
✨
He will be missed.

🩷☀️Memorable Summer ☀️🩷
✨
With Emma Thompson and Christopher Hampton.
✨
Christopher originally wrote his ‘Bloomsbury Set’ film based on the biography of Lytton Strachey.
Struggled to make it for 17 years, then flipped the two leads so that Emma Thompson’s character Carrington became the titular role.

💥…Don’t hit Tom… don’t hit Tom…💥
✨
Had a lot of fun working on this.
Tom’s a hard grafter and talented, and funny!
The man can do it all 🙌🏻
(As you know) And a proper gent too ✨

And go @tatigabrielle - and in heels?!👠 👀⁉️

The big boys were great and then there’s @sophiatali who is naturally funny and makes me laugh SO much 🤣💖 Miss these people ✨

What a time we had🕺

Then there’s Dumb & Dumber - me and @holy.moli not a decent haircut between us 🤣🤣🤣
Used to call ourselves the competition winners.
Or as Tom refers to us in the film: You two fat asses 🤓🤣
✨
Not forgetting @lmaak who was the designated adult keeping us all on track 🤣🙏🏻✨
✨
Happy days 💖🥹✨

❤️”IN DILLMAN’S GROVE”❤️
-What film is the above poem from?
✨
When I say ‘overwhelming vote’ I actually mean just two people. @juliegraham and @noreenfergusonhughes
✨
So not a landslide.
✨
In fact I may have exaggerated the numbers in order to show off.
✨
In fact I did.

🩸SPOILER?🩸
✨
The last Robin Hood post…
✨
@jonathanenglishbalkanic really captured some great moments in this series🍿✨
✨
Two amazing actors here.. @__jackpatten the most disciplined man on Earth, who has absolutely smashed season 1. Who has the strength of ten men and who has been a great pleasure to work with 🪩
Bosh⭐️
✨
And the amazing @laurennmcqueen who has provided some unmatched quotes:
Firstly, when I noticed that Lauren (who is left handed) was completing the entire fight with her right hand and I said - I thought you were left handed? And she replied (whilst fighting) “Yeah, but I play darts with me right”
-Bosh 💫
✨
And her other quote when she read that my character dies (I play her father) and she didn’t want him to die, she touchingly said, and without irony:
“Yeah, but my acting coach said that if we don’t see you with your eyes actually closed - there’s a chance you could still be alive.”
Bosh 🥹
✨
So I made sure I died with my eyes wide open 👀
✨
Even Sean Bean said to me (and hes dies in a fair few projects)
“It’s alright dying, cos you don’t actually die.”
Bosh 👊🏻
✨
I’m gonna miss my RH family. And their quotes.
It’s been a fantastic ride. Genuinely - catch it if you can!
Thank you @mgmplus and @lionsgatetv @mgmplusuk 🙏🏻
And thanks to @jonathanenglishbalkanic and @johnglennjge for creating this fantastic show🙏🏻
✨
This concludes what has been a spectacular journey.
Over and out ⚡️
Bosh 🪩
