Home Internationals 2026 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 what an honour and a privilege it was to be a part of a really fantastic England team in Northern Ireland last weekend. The vest weighs heavy although I wouldn’t say that cost me too many targets. It was quite simply just a really tough shoot. A humbling experience and one that has created more motivation to achieve the same position again. Kudos to all shooters at the event and especially to a very talented England team that posted some really impressive scores. Thank you all for being so welcoming and supportive. The whole experience was made even more special by the team spirit and togetherness.

A busy few days touching base at home followed by a much needed break to Kefelonia. Ready to put some work in through the winter for next season. by @stew_shoots_clays

Chuffed to have made it into AAA this month! The progress is slow but it’s all moving in the right direction! 💥 by @stew_shoots_clays

I want to say I’m happy with joint third overall at Westfield on Sunday. But I’m not 🤣 them crows on stand 4 will haunt me for a while 😅 none the less it’s another good result and especially before the @theclayshootingcompany Krieghoff 200 supersporting masters this coming weekend. If you’re not already booked on then get booked on!!! by @stew_shoots_clays

British open 2026!!! Disappointed in my performance on the day. It just goes to show what wanting it too much and trying to hard does. I knew stand 11 was the challenge and got tight and started looking at the gun! Either way, won a bag. Thanks @swatcomofficial. Got my England vest. Thanks @laporte_shooting_sports. In the main I shot well but just didn’t do the job. Huge congratulations to @tomyoungshooting. I genuinely couldn’t think of anyone that deserves it more. by @stew_shoots_clays

Very happy to take HG on Saturday at @wmsghodnet. A really good course as always set by @owain303. A big dent made on stand 6 but pleased to hold it together! British pending 👀 by @stew_shoots_clays

So after a fantastic albeit traumatic week at Eurocash 2026 it was nice to return to the uk and pick up HG at Brook Bank shooting ground with 99 in the first squad out on the Friday. Thanks to the team and all of the refs. by @stew_shoots_clays

Well well well. An absolute emotional rollercoaster of a day @eatonhall_ . Those that know will know. 🫠

To the team @eatonhall_ . Considering this is the first time you have run this event it has been a fantastic spectacle for all involved and watching from the sides. You have taken on a huge amount of work and ultimately what you are doing for the sport is fantastic and can only move us forward and help us compete in Europe and the USA. For that I am very grateful and believe everyone who loves our sport should get behind you and back it.

I was solid enough around the 125 targets. Probably 2 or 3 light on the sporting. 42/50. Happy with a 20 on the OT. 1 light on the compak missing my final bird for 25 straight. But the real kicker, 2 or 3 light on the skeet with a poor 22.

I fell into a shoot off for the final spot in the top 5 in AA. Shooting a really solid 7/10 on a pretty savage sim pair and finishing first. Probably the highlight of my shooting today. Ironically it turned out a slight clerical error meant there was another shooter 1 clay better off than me in the main 125 targets so he took the 5th spot anyway.

6th in class overall and happy with how I’ve performed over the 385 clays I’ve faced shooting 339 of them.

Thankyou to all of my sponsors:

Steady enough week on the gun. Happy to take HG @iancoleysporting in the week followed by some consistency at topgun @eatonhall_ this weekend. Fortunate to have made finals day after leaving a few out there. But it really doesn’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile… by @stew_shoots_clays

Some fake smiles at the English @barburyshooting from myself and smashman @cashman89 . Followed by a tepid attempt at the @orstonshootingground Orston masters. I clearly wasn’t shooting to the best of my ability.
Roll onto Saturday and I shot one of the best Fitasc shoots I have taken part in for a long long time. Congratulations to @owain303, @wmsghodnet & all winners on what was a truly fantastic display of what this sport is all about. It had everything. Helped by shooting with a fantastic squad and some really top shots I finished on 82. Probably 5 light on what im capable of but it’s a long old road to stick in until the end! Finished with goobers displaying the ammo that has seen me through and the best support chowing down on watermelon & coffee this morning. The best life has balance. by @stew_shoots_clays

Happy to finish with a 97 @owlslodgeshootingschool on Saturday. Feeling excited for the first major of they’ll year @barburyshooting. EOESP 💥 by @stew_shoots_clays

Happy to have started to find some form over the last week or so. Posting a 91 at brook bank Friday, followed by an 88 on a really good course set by Steve at @theclayshootingco on Sunday. Finishing the bank holiday weekend off with joint HG at @wadswickgunroom 50 bird re-entry. Shooting only one card finishing on 46💥

Today I managed to get work out of the way early enough to fly up to @iancoleysporting for their monthly registered shoot. Fair play @josh_billington , you stiffened that up and it was thoroughly enjoyable.

Finishing on 93 ex 100, joint 3rd overall.

All good prep ready for the English and I’m looking forward to @owlslodgeshootingschool school Saturday. by @stew_shoots_clays

What a stunning day! I’ve had some good news this week, I’ve been selected to shoot for England in the Home internationals in Northern Ireland this September @cpsauk ! I can’t deny I’m super proud and really looking forward to representing my country for the first time. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Today I went to the local @iancoleysporting open day. A great atmosphere, great shoot and as always a really welcoming team. I shot well enough. 1 away from HG with 46 at the time of leaving. Looking forward to catching up with @cashman89 tomorrow at @clay_shooting_company

I need to give a quick shoutout to @samushershooting for working with me for a while now and genuinely making real improvement in my shooting. I’m really grateful mate.
heres to 2026💥

Topping today off in the only beer stop of note in the Cotswolds and some recovery! 🍺
